Chapter 73

                      Emma's POV
I'm such a idiot, but I had to do it for Luke, so he wouldn't get hurt.

" Emma? Where are you? " Mom called walking to my door

It's completely dark in my room and I'm hidden under covers and pillows.

A light came in my room and mom walked in " Em are you okay?"

" Yeah I'm fine " I said looking away from her.

" Well it's time to eat " She said rubbing my back.

" I'm not hungry " I said petting Dutch who came in my room and laid down next to me

" Emma are you okay? " she asked

" Yes mom I'm fine I'm just tired " I lied.

" Alright Emma " she said getting up from my bed and walking out.

Annie's POV
 
I left Emma's room and walked down to John.

" John we've got to talk " I said walking into his office

" what is it? " He asked looking up

" It's Emma " I said worried

" what's wrong with her " he said standing up walking to me.

" She's really upset, a-a-and she's not eating, I-I don't know what's wrong " I stuttered crying.

John placed his hands on my shoulders holding me " She's gonna be fine "

" No she can't get like this again, she's been though  so much! " I cried

" I know Annie " he said.

Emma's POV

My phone rang and I grabbed it and checked to see who's calling me, It's Connor.

" Hey " I said trying to sound happy but it's not working.

" what's wrong Emma? " He asked

" N-Nothing " I said wiping tears

" Emma " He said

" Alright fine, My world is falling apart " I cried.

" what happened??" he asked concerned

" Luke came over earlier today " I said, I do not want to say what happened next.

" Alright, what happened Em? " He asked.

" we did stuff " I said, instantly feeling regret and sad.

" Emma! Are you high?!" He screamed.

" No!" I said.

" look your my best friend and I love you, Echo didn't want me to say anything but you can keeping sleeping with him, not only will it cause why more drama then  both of you need right now! But your gonna get hurt!!" He yelled, he's got a point.

" I know that Connor!" I yelled back rising up " which is why I told him I can't do this anymore " I finished

" oh before or after you slept! With him " Connor said, screw you.

" After " I said. I think I'm gonna die.

" what did you say to him?" Connor asked

" I told him that we can't do this anymore, we started fighting, then I said...that I don't love him.." I said started crying..

" Emma... " Connor said

" Connor I didn't mean it " I cried out.

" you didn't want him to get hurt "  He said..

" I didn't...." I said.
I don't know what to do anymore.

" Emma I'm sorry" Connor said

" Its fine. " I paused " I...I gotta go "

I hung up the phone and threw it on the bed. I got out of bed and walked over to my balcony that I haven't been on in forever.

I grabbed the rails and looked at the dark blue sky. I can't do this anymore.

Third person's POV

Emma had climb onto the balcony ralliling, Dutch had watched her and walked over. She was crying, crying hard.

" I can't do this, I can't do this, I can't do this " she said over and over shaking her head.

Dutch knew something was wrong, they had been though everything together, Emma went though so much. This feeling he was sensing felt like she was gonna do something.

Emma let one hand go off the rail. Dutch jumped up and grabbed her shirt and pulled her back onto the balcony floor. She fell down and Dutch laid beside her and cuddled her.

" Thank you Dutch " She said shaking and petting him.
