Natasha places a small fist at the door and knocks hard and loud. No one comes to the door. She gives the door another knock and we hear shuffling inside before the door opens and I see Jason standing there with no shirt on and just a towel wrapped securely around his waist. Droplets of water fall down his defined chest and I see Natasha lick her lips and look at him like he's a piece of meat.

She is not looking at my man like this. I can feel my blood boiling as the jealous side of me starts to kick in.

"Uh.. Jess." He looks at me and then at Natasha.

"Oh this is Natasha.. She's here too see Skylar." I reply and he doesn't look so confused anymore.

Jason nods and steps aside gesturing for us to come in. This is not how I had planned on seeing his house for the first time.

"Skylar is outside by the pool." He replies looking at Natasha and she walks away, looking for the pool.

I am about to follow her when a familiar grip wraps around my wrist. I hear the door close and I am pushed into it with my back against the door.

Jason looks down at me, his eyes become dark, filled with lust. "I was going to call you about leaving this morning." He speaks slowly and softly. His warm breath sends chills down my spine.

I am about to speak when his soft lips come crashing down onto mine. I wrap my arms around his neck and pull him closer to my body. One of my hands makes it's way to his hair and I begin to pull at it. I hear a soft groan escape from Jason's mouth into my ear. We both pull away for air after things become even more heated .

"How. Did. You. Know. Where. I. Lived?" He says in between the heavy breaths he's been taking.

I look up at him and bite my lip, "I don't like it when you look at me like that, it makes me want to do things to you." He groans and places his forehead on mine.

"I waited outside here once when Cassie came to give you your birthday present." I say, breaking the mood and he sighs.

"Ohh.." Is all he can say which makes me annoyed, not that I expect him to have anything else to say about the situation. I've made it completely awkward now and he's probably wishing he didn't ask that.

"Plus it's a small town." I chuckle, trying to make a joke out of the mess I've made.

"Yea." He agrees wrapping both arms around my waist and giving me a quick squeeze.

"We should go before they see us." I sigh and Jason nods letting go of me. I follow him outside to the pool area where Skylar is laying across the pool lounge chair with Natasha sitting up close, looking very cosy with him.

"Oh hey Jess!" Skylar sits up when he sees me and I hear a low growl emerge from within Jason. Please sit back down in that chair! I mentally yell at Skylar. He gets up and comes over to hug me. What is he doing? I look over at Jason and he gives Skylar a death glare.

I push Skylar away pretending that he was hugging me to death and he goes back over to sit with Natasha.

"I was just telling Skylar how I got here. Thank you for the help, Tess." She gives me a cocky smile.

"It's Jess." I correct her and I hear that cackle come out of her mouth. I roll my eyes at her as she runs her long fingers through the short hair she is sporting.

I look over at Jason who still doesn't look happy with the Skylar situation before. Jason knows how Skylar feels about me but he also knows that I would never do anything to ruin our relationship. I care about Jason too much which makes me worry because Cassie will hate it when she eventually finds out.

"Come inside and make lunch with me?" Jason offers from behind me as I watch Skylar and Natasha making up for lost time.

I nod and follow Jason back into the house and into the kitchen.

"So where are your parents?" I try making small talk as I chop some cucumber and tomato for the salad.

"They're out for the day. They were so pissed when I came home early this morning... Apparently Skylar forgot to tell them I was crashing at a friends house." Jason says as he begins to fry up some steak which starts to fill the room. It smells so delicious.

"I'm sure he didn't do it on purpose." I reassure him.

"What's up with that girl anyways? Natalia was it?" He asks and I turn around to answer him not realising how close he was to me. Only a few inches away.

"Very funny Jason. Ha ha. You know her name!" I laugh.

"I know but I'm only doing what she did to you. I noticed her give you that bitchy smile as well so what's up with her?" He turns back around to flip the steaks over and I lift myself up to sit on the kitchen bench.

"I'm not sure. I met her this morning and she asked me if I knew Skylar. Apparently they used to date for like a year but I guess they're best friends now." I say as he turns off the stove and turns back around to face me.

"Interesting.. Skylar never mentioned there was a girl but you know he also didnt mention that he likes you do I don't know what to think." Jason says in a pissed off kind of way.

"Jason..." I mutter.

"Jess." He states stepping further towards me.

He is finally closer enough for me to pull him towards me. Jason places his arms either side of me resting them on the kitchen bench that I am sitting on.

He still isn't wearing a shirt and his chest is warm against my body.

"I." I say kissing his forehead. "Don't. Like. Skylar." I finish kissing both of his cheeks and finally his lips.

"I know. I just don't trust him around you." He admits, resting his forehead on my chin.

"Trust me to kick his ass if he tries anything." I say seriously and this earns me a laugh.

"Come on, we can't act like this with other people nearby." I finally say and Jason nods his head in agreement.

After lunch I help Jason clear the table and begin to wash the dishes.

"I gotta piss." Jason says going to the bathroom.

"How charming!" I yell as I hear the door close.

I finish washing up the last dishes and Skylar walks in with a huge smile on his face.

"Someone's in a good mood." I say when I notice him staring and smiling at me.

"Yea I guess you could say that. I have my best friend here along with the girl I like." He states.

"Skylar." I snap.

"You can't go around saying stuff like that. I told you that I didn't have feelings for you and that's not going to change. Ever." I say harshly. I'm so sick of him trying things on me whenever he feels like it. He's going to drive a wedge in between mine and Jason's newly found relationship and I won't just stand by and let him do that even though Skylar has no clue what he's doing... I think.

"I can like you and I will, Jess. Even if you do have a boyfriend. It's not going to stop me from liking you okay? Why haven't you told me his name before? Are you ashamed of him or is it the other way around?" Skylar spits back. His voice filled with venom. The part where he says 'Are you ashamed of him or is it the other way around?' Really hurts me. I'm not ashamed and neither is Jason but things are just complicated. There are way too many people that would get hurt if we came out with our new status. I just can't afford to lose anyone right now even if it makes me seem selfish.

"Well now I know how you would've felt if we dated." I state.

"Jess... It's not like that. I didn't mean it in that way." He quickly says when he sees the pain he's caused.

"Just shut up, Skylar!" I cry and run towards the bathroom in hopes to find Jason.

Skylar's POV

I try to call her but she runs towards the bathroom, I know exactly who she's gone to find. I never should have said anything about him being ashamed of her. I'm just a jealous prick.

I just wish that she would see that I'm better than Jason is for her. They can't continue to keep their relationship a secret and when Cassie finds out shit will definitely hit the fan. I'm worried for Jess, I know she would be better off with me. How does she know that in a few months of being with him, after she's lost her best friend and me that Jason won't just up and leave her for one of her friends?

I need to tell her that. I need to put the idea in her head so she can consider being with me. I know is wrong and even worse that Jason is my cousin and I'm planning on doing this but for years it's been like this big competition between us. He had always been the golden boy and I was the skinny, nerdy kid. But now I actually, truly like this girl and Jason is getting in the way.

I go up to my room to find Natasha sitting on my bed, she's dressed in one of my shirts. She seems to have made herself at home already even if it is only just for the weekend.

"Tash." I sigh, calling her by her nickname.

"Sky." She does the same.

"What are you doing dressed in my shirt?" I sit down next her and she crawls into my arms.

"I've missed wearing it." She coos and begins to kiss my neck just like old times.

I don't resist as Natasha sits in my lap, her legs either side of me. She cups my face with both her hands and begins to roughly kiss my lips. My hands find their way to her waist and I begin running my fingers up and down her thighs. I flip her over so she's now lying on my bed and I'm on top. She pulls at the hem of my t-shirt indicating for me to take it off.

We continue to kiss as my shirt comes off and her fingers trail down my chest and body.

"I've missed you so much." She whispers into my ear and I know I need to stop this right now.

I sit up and she pulls for me to come back down but I won't budge.

"What is your problem?" She hisses.

"I'm offering you what every guy wants. I know you haven't gotten any in a while so why the hell not!" She cries and I shake my head.

"You said you missed me?" I say which makes her blush.

"No I didn't." She lies.

"Yes you did Tash." I remind her.

"So what's wrong with it if I did?"

"I don't want anything right now okay? We're friends." I remind her again.

She looks hurt,"You like that Tess girl don't you?"

"You and I both know her name is Jess and yes I do." I admit.

"You fucking idiot. Can't you see the way she looks at that other guy? You're just going to get hurt babe and I will be here for you when that happens." She says coldly. Sometimes Natasha can be a cold hearted bitch but she's always right.

I nod, "Yea I'm trying to sort that out." I admit.

"Oh so you're trying to break them apart from each other? Just be careful because she might end up hating you for it when she finds out." Natasha states, I know she is being truthful. I would hate me too.

"I can take care of myself and that's if she finds out." I say.

"I know you can take care of yourself but sometimes your ego is too damn big for your own good, Skylar. You and I both know that." She sighs getting off my bed and putting her shorts back on.

"Are you still staying for the weekend?" I ask as she takes off my shirt and replaces it with her own.

"I don't know if that's such a good idea anymore." She smirks.

"C'mon Tash, I haven't seen you in a month and you're my best friend. Please just stay for one night?" I practically beg her.

"Fine. One night." She sighs, folding her arms over her chest.
