I ran back to the campsite as fast as I can, not taking one look back at Jason.
Why does he keep doing this?
"Cassie?" I yelled, tripping over a few sticks on the ground.
"Aaaahhhhhhhhh!" I hear the scream again.
I finally get back to the campsite,
"What's wrong?!" I cried out, looking over at Cassie who standing over a large animal.
"What is it?!" she screamed.
"What is what?" I asked, confused.
"That!" she screeches, pointing at the ground.
I walk over towards her, peering over her shoulder.
"Hahaha oh my gosh!" I start laughing, I had to bite my lip to contain my laughter.
"Why are you laughing when there is a wild animal that's trying to hurt me?!" Cassie demands looking back at me over her shoulder.
"That- that little animal you're scared of is only a squirrel!" I laugh.
Cassie turns around to face me, her face as red as a tomato.
"Oh my gosh! I feel like an idiot!" she cries out, hitting her forehead with her hand.
"Shooo! Go away!" she yelled, throwing her hands up in the air at the squirrel.
The squirrel ran off in the other direction and Cassie spun around running straight into my arms.
I gripped around her tightly, and we ended up laughing.
"Hey Jess, are you bleeding?" I heard Jason's concerned voice.
At first I was confused, I looked down at my leg and I could feel the warm, dark-red liquid dripping down my leg. My eyes widened and I passed out.
~.~
When I woke up I felt dizzy, I tried sitting up but then I fell back down. Before I could hit the ground a firm arm slipped under my head to support me.
I blinked quickly before opening my eyes properly and looked up to see Jason's eyes fixed on me.
"Get away from me!" I yelled. Forcing myself up off the ground. I stumbled abit but Jason caught me.
"Fuck off!" I hissed. "Don't you dare touch me." I cried out.
"Jess, I-I'm sorry." he whispered.
"Look, we shouldn't even talk. You LOVE Cassie." I snapped, turning around and walked towards my tent.
"You're up!" Cassie smiled when she saw me getting into my tent.
"And tired." I moaned, slipping in and zipping the tent shut.
I closed my eyes and drifted off into a deep sleep.
"Jess, wake up." I hear a soothing voice whisper into my ear.
"Huuuuh?" I moan.
"Wake up." the voice snaps.
I slowly open my eyes, "Skylar? What do you want?" I say yawning.
"Cassie and Jason have gone to but food which is like an hour away and I'm bored. Wanna do something?" he smirks.
"Oh okay. Sure, why not!" I laugh.
"Good." skylar says, reaching for something next too him. "Look what I've got." he winks, pulling out a bottle of vodka.
"I don't drink that stuff." I say, embarrassed.
