Jason and I were officially together for one week now. One week of me having the most perfect boyfriend ever. I grab my phone from the side of my bed and I realise I have a few text messages. I open the first one and read it,
'Hey babe,
Happy one week anniversary. I know it seems cheesy but I have something special planned for us tonight. I will pick you up at 6 so be ready.
Jason xx'
I can't help but smile to myself and text him back. I open the next message and begin to read it,
'Hey,
You haven't told me whether or not you've found this girl who broke Jason and I up. Please text me back ASAP I really need to know who she is. I hope you're having a good time and I will see you in a few days.
Cass xoxoxoxox'
My heart sinks. I can't believe I've forgotten about Cassie. Jason was her boyfriend before he was mine and I'm the one who caused their break up. Cassie would hate me if she found out. I decide not to text her back as I feel guilty.
I get out of bed and walk towards the bathroom so I can have a shower and clear my head.
The hot water beats down hard onto my back. Cleansing me from my thoughts. I wash my hair and shave my legs so I can have extra time in the shower. When I'm done I grab a white fluffy towel and wrap it securely around my body.
When I get to my room I get changed into a pair of shorts and a grey sweatshirt. I quickly blow dry my hair and brush it.
I decide to call Cassie.
"Hey!" She chips when she answers it.
"Hey, Cass." I try to sound calm but I am freaking out on the inside.
"So have you found the girl?" Cassie says, getting straight to the point.
"Um no, I haven't been around Jason that much." I lie.
"Oh.. Well when I get back we can take her down together!" Cassie offers.
"Sure..."
"What's up Jess?" Cassie demands.
"Oh nothing! Just tired but I wanted to call and see how you're doing." I lie again. Wow I'm really getting good at this.
"I'm doing great. My grandad really enjoys having me here but if you're tired you should go back to sleep! I will see you in a few days hun." Cassie replies.
"I'm glad and thanks, I will see you then." I say. We both say goodbye and end the call.
Jason will be here in 10 minutes. I step back from the mirror to take a look at my outfit. I am dressed in a dark blue dress which stops in the middle of my thigh and a pair of black converse. I tie my hair up in a loose pony tail and apply some pink lipgloss to my lips. I still can't stop thinking about how much I am going to hurt Cassie.
I walk downstairs with 5 minutes to spare and I find Jason talking with my father.
"Jess." He smiles when his eyes focus on me.
"Hey, I didn't know you were here yet." I say, stepping forward to give him a hug. His strong arms warp around my body and I rest my head on his shoulder when I hear my father cough awkwardly. We pull away from each other and my dad starts to speak, "you know the rules Jason. Jess needs to be home by 11." Is all he says.
"Yes sir." Jason responds politely.
We both say goodbye and make our way towards his car. I stop and turn so I am facing Jason. I look up into his grey eyes and I kiss him softly on his lips before I turn around to get into the car.
We have been driving for 20 minutes and we finally stop at a field. There is nothing but grass and it is literally in the middle of nowhere.
"Have you brought me out here to get murdered?" I joke.
"Something like that." Jason responds with no expression on his face. My mouth drops.
"I'm kidding, Jess. Don't take things so seriously." He laughs which reveals a cute dimple in the side of his cheek.
"I never knew you had a dimple." I say out loud. When I realise this I quickly cover my mouth with my hands and I can feel my cheeks turning red.
"What?" Jason says taken back and I see his cheeks start to flush with a tint of red.
Jason begins to set up blankets on the ground besides his car with pillows as well. I take a seat on the ground and wrap a blanket around my body as it is starting to get cold. Jason then brings a basket out of his car, it looks like a picnic basket. He places it down next to me and he soon sits with me.
"Are you thirsty?" He smiles and I nod my head. He opens up the basket and brings out a bottle of bubbly.
"Are we even allowed to drink this?"
"Nope, but that's what makes it better." He winks at me.
I smile as I take a sip of the glass he has just poured for me. The cool liquid slides down my throat and it sends tingles down my spine. I quickly finish my glass and place it down next to me. I look over at Jason who has the sun setting behind him. He looks like an angel.
I move closer to him so I am in between his legs and we are facing each other. Our mouths soon touch and we begin to kiss. Our lips move in sync as our kiss begins to heaten up. I wrap my arms around his neck and my fingers wrap through his hair as his arms wrap around my waist and he brings me closer to him, our chests touching as his tongue slips into my mouth. We are both breathing very heavily as we are making out.
Finally we both stop and slowly pull away.
"That was..." He says.
"Hot." I finish for him.
"Are you hungry?" He asks.
"Not after that." I joke.
"Me too." He smirks, lightly kissing my lips.
He turns to the picnic basket and pulls out something which is wrapped in aluminium foil. He opens up the foil and reveals two hotdogs which look delicious and he hands me one. I take a bite and then another and before I know it I'm finished.
"Did you make those?" I gasp once finishing it.
"Yeah, why?"
"It was amazing." I admit.
"It was only a hotdog, Jess." He laughs.
"Best friken one I've ever tasted I state.
"Oh you won't be saying that once you've tasted my hotdog." Jason winks which completely throws me of guard. I can feel the colour draining from my face and I turn away.
"Jess. Did I say something wrong?" Jason quickly asks, grabbing onto my arm and turning me around.
"No..." I lie.
"Jess please tell me the truth." He begs.
"I've never... Done that sort of stuff. With anyone." I say, too embarrassed to look at him.
"That's nothing to be ashamed of." He laughs. It doesn't help thought.
"You have though haven't you?" I ask which I think catches him off guard.
"Yes..." He whispers.
"Cassie was your first time wasn't she?" I say because I'm curious.
Way to go Jess! You always seem to fuck everything up by bringing Cassie up.
"Yeah she was. So what?" Jason huffs.
"So don't you always have feelings for your first time?" I say.
"Look I love Cassie." Jason replies. This starts to bring tears to my eyes.
"I love her but I'm not in love with her." He finishes.
"I love her too, as a best friend." I respond and start to wipe the tears away.
"Don't cry." He whispers, pulling me in for a hug.
"Sorry. I always seem to stuff things up." I apologise.
"You don't have to be sorry for anything, I'm the one who's sorry for bringing up sexual things too soon in our relationship. I know this must be hard you know. Me being with her and everything but I'm with you now Jess. You're the only one I want." He whispers in my ear which makes the hairs at the back of my next stand up. .
AN- I'm not sure how I feel about this chapter :o tell me what you think! This is only half btw so I will be uploading the other half later on :)
