Giggling. Giggling from what sounds like a small child echoed through the alley ways of New York. A six year old ran around corners until she bumped into a woman with light blue hair. She falls to the floor and lands on her bum, making a little 'oof' sound when she hit the floor. The lady looked down at the child and raised an eyebrow.
"Now, now... What on earth are you doing running through the alleys of the big apple? You can run into some very nasty people." Her voice had an accent to it. An... Australian accent. The little girl looked up at the woman, this was the girl she wished to meet.
"Ah! You must be Delia. I've been meaning to talk to you for a while. Awhile meaning since you were created. I've been looking for you since I heard of Darla's dea--" Delia , who we've seen before, interrupted the young redheaded girl.
"How do you know who I am?! Why are you looking for me?!" Delia started shouting at the young child who didn't even flinch at the lady's tone. Instead she started giggling once more.
"I wish for you to help me find some people. Oh! If you're wondering, my name is Seraphina." She paused and preformed a curtsy. "I can reward you for your services later."
"No you won't because I'm not doing this. You're a random kid who ran into me in the middle of the night in a dingy alley way in New York. You know who I am, that I am a clone and you know of my originals death. I. Am. Not. Doing .It." As Delia makes her way out of the alley young Seraphina starts crying.
"Why are you being mean?!" She cried out in between sobs.
"You're not getting anywhere by crying like that." Delia turned around and bent down to be eye level with the child. "I bring you with me and you shut up." Seraphina nodded and hugged Delia.
"Of course. I'll be silent, silent like a... chair. A very squeaky chair." Delia sigh and took the child back to her apartment.
