"I told you to get a fueled Quinjet!" Kaine yells at Jayla.

"It should have been enough!" She yells in return.

"GET MORE THAN ENOUGH, YOU DUMBASS! I'M GONNA BARF!"

The trio's Quinjet is falling to the ground heading towards a highway that's in construction.

"Well, Americans are gonna need to pay more taxes to refund that Quinjet anyways." Jayla says.

They all run to the lower compartment, Delia going with Jayla. They open the door, then Kaine jumps out, gliding away, followed by Jayla, who is carrying Delia and flying to their destination.

"So, St. Agnes is where you grew up?" Delia questions.

"Yeah. I don't like to think about it much."

"Liar" Delia mumbled

When they near the orphanage, Kaine dives closer to the ground, then spreads his arms out again, gliding straight towards St. Agnes, then doing a loop before landing.

"Show off."

Kaine turns around to Jayla landing.

"So, according to my tracers, Ben's stopped here again. We should have come undercover."

"Well," Delia begins, "What would our names be? Emily, Ricky and Denise?"

"Why Denise?"

"I dunno. I like it."

"How did you know the name of my maker?" Jayla asked her.

Kaine rolls his eyes, walking through the doors into the establishment, followed by Delia and Jayla. Kaine turns on his suit's stealth mode, seeming like suit is creeping away into a singular point, revealing air inside. Jayla walks to the woman at the front desk, starting a conversation so Kaine can pass, and Delia sneaks in through the back. They meet up in a hallway.

"All the kids should be asleep, but we need to stay quiet." Kaine whispers.

He activates his suit display, looking for any people. He sees all the slowed heartbeats of the sleeping children, but one sticks out. It's a normal one, but it's moving.

"I need to check something out."

Kaine turns invisible again, running through the halls, looking for the person. He nears the figure, but realizes that it's just a child. He slowly and silently retreats, heading somewhere else. He then sees another person roaming the halls. He starts towards them, whoever they are.

He arrives there, finding Ben in his red suit with a black tie, wearing the mask of Anubis. He uncloaks, standing in front of him.

"You couldn't stay away, could you, Kaine?"

"No, I couldn't."

"I counted on that. I have plastic explosives planted throughout the building. We're both clones of Peter Parker. You want to deactivate them, correct?"

Kaine remains silent.

"I'll take that as a yes. So, if you promise to get me a vial of blood from your friend, Jayla, I'll destroy the detonator. If not... These orphans will find a home very soon."

"You're sadistic."

"That may be the case, however unhelpful it may be to this situation. Now, do you accept my terms?"

Kaine hesitates. He doesn't know if he should, knowing what Ben has done before as the Jackal. But, if he refuses...

"Fine."

Ben gives Kaine a small card.

"Call me when you have it. I'll be there in, say, two hours after you call. Farewell, brother."

Ben walks away, Kaine unwilling to risk the lives of innocent children for a chance to attack him. He simply walks away, hanging his head down in shame.

Meanwhile, Jayla roams the halls of the orphanage. As she does, memories both good and bad rush to the forefront of her mind like a machine gun that won't stop firing. She never thought she would come back to the place where she was left all those years ago, before SHIELD adopted her. She doesn't really regret it, though. After all, Jayla enjoyed her life before SHIELD, before she was stuck going on missions every other day. She wishes she could have that non-hectic life again.

Eventually, Jayla walks back to the Quinjet, where Kaine and Delia are already waiting. She starts it up and flies off.
