Jayla walks off the Quinjet, followed by Kaine, onto the roof of a relatively low building in New York City. There actually isn't a reason they landed specifically on this building; they just barely had fuel for a round trip, so they landed short of their intended destination. Possibly for the best. Kaine crawls along the side of a building, as Jayla walks on the roof alongside him, barely keeping up.
"Can we take a break yet?" she asks, panting heavily.
"I honestly thought SHIELD agents would be better trained."
Kaine crawls up onto the roof of the building, their originally intended target, and looks for the entrance to the apartment building. After realizing there isn't one, Kaine drops into the nearest room to his position. Immediately, he covers his eyes, disgusted by what he sees. Jayla drops in as well, then subsequently gagging and closing her eyes too.
"Out of all the rooms, you pick the one with the couple that's... ewww..."
Kaine slowly makes his way to the door, hitting several objects along the way. Once he reaches it, he opens it just enough to fit through, then dashes out. Jayla follows.
"Okay, so we stumbled across the generic white couple. It's fine, we're both over sixteen." Kaine says, walking down the hall.
"Yeah... wait, you are over sixteen, right?"
Kaine glares at her, then turns back around and continues to look for the room. After about five minutes, he remembers that his suit can find the heart rates of anyone. This person has an abnormally slow heartbeat. Kaine taps the head of the spider logo on his chest, activating the display. As expected, there is one abnormally slow heartbeat (and two extremely fast ones).
"Found her."
"You're sure she can help?"
"Yes, I'm sure."
"Okay, but I call dibs on next recruit."
"...I really didn't see that one coming."
Kaine and Jayla arrive at the door. The heart rate is only 40 BPM. Oddly, there's a second heartbeat in the apartment, one that isn't slowed down. Kaine knocks on the door, waiting for an answer.
"It's unlocked, come in."
He looks over at Jayla, who looks oddly impatient. Kaine then opens the door.
"Delia?" Kaine calls out.
"Who else?"
"Don't really know what I was expecting."
"So... new suit, eh?"
"Yeah. SHIELD provided. Now, let's talk."
