The gang is all sitting down in the basement. Dustin pats Mike's back, trying to comfort him.
Dustin: Maybe she'll come back?
Mike: She won't..
The gang glances at the depressed Mike.
Dustin: Where ever Eleven is, she is fine. She has super powers. Like, remember that time when she saved us from the ' bad men'?
Mike sighs.
Mike: But what it she is trapped and can't get out?
Dustin sighs back at Mike.
Will: Maybe we can get her back.
Everyone takes their attention, and gives it to Will.
Will: When I was in the upside down, there was a portal.
Mike, Lucas, and Dustin all Together: So?
Will: Then maybe we can try to go back. Through the portal.
The gang realizes Will is right. They all pause for a moment.
Dustin: What will our parents do if they find out we are out past curfew?
Lucas: Don't we always go out past curfew?
Dustin: — Right.
Mike: You think it'll work?
Will: I think.
Dustin pauses.
Dustin: But where is the portal? How do we find it? What if —
Mike interrupts Dustin.
Mike: Remember everything Eleven did for us?
Everyone thinks about Eleven, and how she helped save Will.
Dustin and Lucas: — Yeah.
Mike: She even sacrificed herself for us. How about we all get the materials we need for the upside down.
Dustin: I'll bring food!
Lucas: I'll bring weapons.
Will: And what should I bring?
They all get deep in thought.
Mike: Anything you think we need, you were the one trapped there.
Will nods.
Mike: And I'll bring eggos. I know El' loves them.
