"Mike, I —" Eleven bit her lip, cutting off her words.
"El, I just wish that none of this ever happened... and we just met like everyone else does. Not meeting you in the middle of the night.." Mike sniffed.
"We'll make it." Eleven assured, a smile on her face. Mike gave a dorky smile back.
"Promise?" He asked, waiting the return of Eleven's warm voice.
"Promise." She grinned, before tackling him to the ground in a hug. Dustin peeked in,
"Everything summed up, love birds?" Dustin asked.
"Shut up." Mike shot back, before Dustin piled in to the hug, as Eleven laughed. Lucas rolled his eyes.
"Join in, Lucas!" Dustin bellowed.
"Fine." Lucas jumped into the group hug. Will unexpectedly plopped in, startling Mike.
"You're such a baby, Mike." Dustin laughed. They all held for a moment.
Everything was perfect.
For now.
But who knows what would occur in the future.
What they knew is they would stick together, no matter what.
And that's what they did.
