Max ran off from everyone else. Eleven followed, wanting to help. She always was so sensitive and soft, yet so hard on the outside.
"Leave me alone!" Max shouted. Mike finally caught up.
"Max." Eleven said, putting out her hand.
"What?.." Max stared at her hand.
"Friend?.." Eleven said, as Mike spectated. Max shook it.
"I'm sorry.." Max muttered, and stood up.
"Me too," Eleven replied. Mike walked up to Eleven.
"And me too." Mike admitted. Eleven smiled. Max gave a light smile, at the same time as Eleven.

Nancy was still sitting in her bed. The two were chatting, and Barb walked in.
"Hey, Barb." Nancy put her hand out, barely making a wave. Barb sat next to Jonathan.
"Hey." said Jonathan. Barb sighed.
"Why did that guy shoot you?" Barb asked.
"He tried to take Eleven so — I grabbed my bat and tried to beat him with it." Nancy put her hand against her head. All these problems were like an epidemic, spreading to everyone. No one was safe anymore. Danger was everywhere in Hawkins, Indiana. Jonathan clasped his hands together and was silent. Nancy glanced at Barb.
"I'll be out early. The Doctors say I healed faster than they thought." Nancy stared blankly at the ceiling.
"Well, maybe we can hang out tomorrow, Nancy. How about my house at three?
"Okay, Barb. Thanks." Nancy gave a little smile. Barb grinned back, and closed the door behind her. Nancy fell asleep, and Jonathan took a picture of her, and smiled. He didn't mean to be a 'creep' or anything to that extent, he just loved being with Nancy, and wanted to savor these moments of them together.

Eleven, Mike, and Max walked back together.
"Sorry for being in your business.. I just feel left out sometimes, and when I moved here, I just felt lonely.. and I lost all my friends.." Max explained. Eleven nodded.
"I understand." Mike turned to Eleven, who had a blank expression. They were finally back, to The Wheeler's house. They stepped through the door way, to see Lucas and Dustin sitting so silently, you could hear droning. Dustin waved, and Lucas just stood motionless. Mike sat with Eleven. Eleven put her hand on top of Mike's, causing Max to raise a brow. There was a perfect, unbroken, silence. Then Max waved and left, slamming the door.
"So." Mike said to Eleven.
"Thanksgiving is coming up." Lucas started the conversation
"What is 'thankgiving'?" Eleven questioned.
"It's when you are thankful for things you have in your life, so you have your family cook a feast and you get to eat it. There is turkey, filling, mashed potatoes.. you know." told Dustin. Eleven nodded, understanding.
"Mike, would I be able to have thanksgiving with you?" Eleven wanted to be a part of this new exciting holiday.
"Of course, El. You're a part of the family too!" Mike hugged Eleven.
"Okay, Mike." She whispered. Lucas tapped his fingers. Mike broke the hug, and Dustin yawned.
"So, where is Will?" Lucas asked.
"He isn't allowed to hang with us until Nancy is recovered, that is what his Mom said. Because it is 'dangerous', but it always is anyways." Dustin blurted. Mike sighed.
"We have Eleven, and she protects us, right El?" Mike said, and she nodded.
"Who wants to go ride somewhere else? I mean, we have nothing else to do." Dustin commented.
"Yeah. Eleven needs more Eggos anyway, so we can head to the grocery store. I can use some of my chore money, it should be enough.." Mike commented, and the gang headed out of The Wheeler's home, and boarded their bikes.
