Mike: El, it's getting late.
Eleven: Oh.
Mike and Eleven stopped dancing, and went over with Dustin, Lucas, and Will.
Nancy: Jonathan, I — I had fun being with you.
Jonathan: I did too.
Nancy kissed him. This made Jonathan turn bright pink. They walked over to them.
Mike: Well, you guys had fun?
Nancy: Yep, now let's go.
Mike grabbed Eleven's hand, and Lucas, Dustin, and Will followed out to the parking lot.
Dustin: See you two.
Lucas: Yeah, guys. Be safe for me.
Will: Yeah, you guys too.
Mike and Eleven waved. Nancy waved Jonathan goodbye. Nancy, Mike, and Eleven started heading back home.
Mike: We had fun, thanks Nancy.
Nancy smiled.
Nancy: Yeah. Me too.
Eleven nodded, and held to Mike's hand. Nancy opened the door to the house. Mike and Eleven fell asleep downstairs together, as Nancy went upstairs to write in her diary...

Dear Diary,
Barb still isn't back. She is presumably dead, at least that is what the Chief said. I hope Barb will return safely. I've prayed but it seems to not help. Anyway, me and Jonathan had our first kiss. It made me feel more secure. At least I have him. I also broke up with Steve, thank god. I helped Mike with taking Eleven to the snowball, the girl he has a crush on. Eleven had been gone for so long, but she was still always stuck in his mind. I saw he kissed her, so I guess my mission is accomplished.
