"The Thessylhydra's claw stretches out to you, before it gives it's last breath..." Mike mimics the Thessylhydra by stretching his arm out to Eleven. Eleven gives a slight grin, trying to not laugh. Mike was basically failing his impression. "And — it disappears into thin air!" The boys roar victoriously. Eleven gave a small giggle. "Eleven the great has saved the party!" Mike smiles at her.
"I did?" She asks.
"Of course, El. That is your first win!" Mike explained. Mike gave her a quick kiss.
"Well. That is a bit strange but okay then." Dustin said. Will sighed.
"At least I didn't die this time." cried Will. Eleven sighed as she dug her face in Mike's chest. She enjoyed the warmth. Lucas face palmed, embarrassed by how his close friends act. Dustin swallowed another spoonful of pudding.
"Now what?" Will asked. Mike tapped his fingers against the table, whilst Eleven was dozing off, comfortable.
This moment was ruined by a loud bang at the door. Eleven got back up, and Mike stepped over to the door. Max appeared, with a look that was familiar. Something had happened, for sure. Mike breathed in the air, before Max let the cat out of the bag.
"Look, Mike. There is another sighting of something — else." Her voice trailed off, and she handed him a newspaper, and it had to be fresh and handed this morning. There was a terrific beast on the sideline, but it wasn't the demogorgon. It was different, yet similar.
"Eleven!" Mike called. She scrambled down, and stared at the illustration.
"Th—Thessylhydra.." She whispered to Mike.
