Stevens dreams pt.2

Steven landed on the earth with his hard shell bubble and looked around for the gems. He saw them all standing in the field watching the stars in the sky. "Guys!!" They all looked at Steven and ran towards him. "Steven!" Garnet picked him up and swung him a little bit. "I thought I lost you.." "Zircon needs our help! She's up there fighting some type of large Yellow gem!!" Garnet put him down and brushed his hair. "Stay here and hold the fort with Connie." "But I want to help!" "No Steven, stay here and watch after the others if anything were to happen to you I wouldn't be able to forgive myself so please, stay here and watch after these people." Steven closed his eyes and sighed a little. "Alright..." Garnet hugged him one last time. "I love you Steven.." she stood up and went with the other gems leaving him behind. "Connie!! We're going to home world!!" "What!?"

Zircon got smacked into the wall still blocking. "You are no match for me now Gem Hunter!" Zircon fell to her knees and looked at her almost shattered Diamond. "I'm not giving up like this." She stood up weakly and held her scythe out. "Give up now!" Zircon swung slicing her arm off then sliced again cutting one of her legs. "You've been a hard challenge..and usually I'd like that...but..you've done so much damage." She put her arm down and watched as tiny pieces fell out of her Diamond. "Zircon!!" Garnet punched the gem making it blow up and helped Zircon up. "Are you OK?" "I'm fine." Zircon dusted herself off and watched as Blue Diamond and Yellow Diamond came into view. "Great.." she stood straight and got ready for another attack.

"Useless."

   Blue Diamond swung her heavy mace down towards Zircon making her catch it with her weak arms. "Jeez Blue.." she pushed up slowly standing up and moving the huge mace out of the way. "I haven't seen you fight for a while I might be rusty!" Blue Diamond swung unexpectedly and hit her like a baseball making her crash into the wall. "I will destroy all of you myself!" Pearl watched as Yellow Diamond stood behind with her arms crossed watching. "There is no way I'm going to let you hurt them for being free!" They all looked back and saw Stevonnie standing in the entrance with an army full of odd looking gems. "Stevonnie!? What are you doing here?" Stevonnie looked at Pearl and smiled a bit.

    "I couldn't just let you all come up here alone and fight.." they jumped on lion and lifted their sword. "Attack!!!" All of the dream gems rushed at Yellow Diamond and Blue Diamond trying to stop them from hurting the others. "Me and Steven are going to have a long talk after this." Garnet said following the dreams. "You think these weak things can stop me?" Zircon jumped on top of her mace when it crashed down and swung at Blue Diamonds hood. "Haven't you been through enough?" Blue Diamond smacked her again making her crash into the large but small army. "Zircon!" She sat up a bit and signaled Stevonnie to keep going. "I'll get up eventually." She laid there and watched as the others fought off the two large enemies. "I'm..not going to make it." She said In laughter and tears. "Once I lose a big piece I'm done for!" Her laughter got louder and louder trying to drown out her sobbing.

   "At least I know I'll go out knowing they're safe." She got up again quiet and still crying summoning her helmet to cover her face. She started running with full power cracking the ground as she ran, not noticing Blue Diamond got stunned by her blade as she swiped down revealing her face. "How dare you!" She swung again laying a scratch on her face managing to get her guard down Pearl used Zircons shoulder to level to her and stuck a spear in her chest. "Argh! Yellow Diamond!" Yellow Diamond nodded her head and closed her eyes as she summoned her bright yellow sword and took out the whole dream army in one swipe. Blue Diamond got the two off of her and retreated back towards her ship. "I've waited for this day." Zircon panicked moving Pearl out the way getting swiped on the back with her sharp sword.

    "Of all people why did I have to fight you?" Zircon quickly moved Stevonnie out of the way getting her right arm swiped off. "Ugh.." "Zircon..!" Zircon heard Stevonnies shaking voice and looked up with a smile. "Go and stand with the others." They unfused and flinched when Zircon caught the large long sword with her single hand. "Hurry and go." She let go letting Yellow Diamond get another chance to swing. "Come on...!" She grabbed the air summoning her flaming scythe looking up at at Yellow Diamond in intense pain behind her helmet. "It was just a thought.." she said as she jumped up swinging at Yellow Diamond. "It's OK.." yellow Diamond swung down at her along her crash into the ground as she blocked. She quickly got up running around her as she tried striking her down. "Quit moving!" Yellow Diamond kicked her making her hit the wall once more. She looked at her lone hand and watched as it glitched a bit.

   "You've got nothing to fear.." she got up and ran towards Steven determined to protect him from the sword. Sacrificing her Diamond Zircon blocked the piercing blade before it hit Steven and his pink Gem. "I'm here." She smiled at them before poofing into smoke leaving her shattered Diamond pieces behind. "My mission is done." Yellow Diamond walked away leaving the frightened gems behind against the wall. "She knew the song.." he crawled over to the pieces and looked at them as they slowly turned black. "Pearl?" Pearl stared in horror not realizing Connie's concern. "P-pearl..?" Garnet stood up over Steven and dropped to her knees and hands over Zircon. "Why did you do that! It wasn't supposed to end that way!! You knew what would've happened Zircon how were you able to break the rules of time!...you can't keep breaking fate like this.." Pearl picked up the shattered pieces and held them close to her chest breaking down on the inside.
