Zircon and Garnet carried the rocks away from the dock and threw them the ocean one by one. "I think that's all." Garnet said throwing the last one. "We go on a mission when they get back right?" "Yes." Zircon watched as the sun rose and heard the warp pad. "I guess we should get going then." She walked past Garnet and went inside waiting for her on the warp pad. "Hey Zircon!" She jumped a bit when she saw Steven then smiled. "Hello Steven." Garnet messed with his hair as he passed and activated the warp pad. "How are you Zircon?" Garnet asked with a small smile. "Managing better than I was before. Thank you for talking to me and helping me understand." "It's what I do." Zircon put her helmet on when they landed, putting her hands on her hips she took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Jasper..." "you remember her?" "There's a certain one? I figured it was multiple since the scent is so strong." "No there's only one..she must be closer than I thought." "You two again!?" Zircon calmly looked back at Jasper and crossed her arms. "Is that her?" "That's right." Garnet summoned her gauntlets and stood ready. "I'll handle this one." Zircon put her arm in front of Garnet holding her back. "Whatever you do Zircon do not shatter her." "Right." Zircon put her fist up watching as Jasper ran towards her making her have a sudden realization. "I remember you!" Zircon grabbed her and flipped her over onto the ground.

"You're the so called 'perfect' Jasper." Zircon punched her in the chest as she was down and backed away. "But you were actually a default." "What was that!?" "You aren't perfect idiot. You were accidentally created you were a test that was meant to be shattered afterwards. You were to big and to sharp." Jasper got up and punched Zircons fist. "IM PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!" "I should know. I was the one ordered to shatter you I can't do it now, but if I could trust me I would." Zircon punched through her chest and caught her gem as she exploded into smoke. "That's it right?" Garnet stood up straight and nodded her head. "Yes, that's it." "Should we be leaving then?" Garnet grabbed Zircons arm before she walked past her.

"Do you remember anything from your past?" "Yea why?" "What do you remember?" "Well I remember Rose shattering Pink Diamond and you..Pearl I remember me and her fought.." "Steven..you added something extra." Zircon looked at Garnet kind of confused and smiled a bit. "Zircon, I'm already one and I'm already made out of love we ca-" Zircon stopped her when she kissed her then started walking away towards the warp pad again. "Sorry, I couldn't help it." Garnet stood there in shock then felt her chest as it burned like a fire. "I feel.." "Come on slow poke we'll be late!" She walked over to the warp pad looking calm on the outside but burned in to much excitement on the inside. "Ready?" "Ready." They warped back to the house quiet the whole way. "They're back!" Steven and the others stood by the warp pad when the two came back. "How did the mission go?" Garnet stepped off and went back to her room. Zircon stepped off taking her helmet off and letting it disappear in the air.

"We got Jasper. Turns out she was actually very default. She was to big and to sharp. The smaller ones were way stronger and way better." Amethyst smiled at her and headed back outside. "Ah! I forgot to bubble her." She threw it in the air making a blue bubble form around it then sent it off. "Hey, Zircon." She looked at Pearl and smiled. "Yes?" "Me and Steven are going to Sadie's little donut shop I wanted to know if you wanted to go." "No thank you I need to stay back and train." "Oh..ok. well we'll be back!" She nervously laughed and quickly left with Steven. "Let's see how rusty I am." She ran outside and leaped off of the high deck landing on the sand quickly summoning glass clones.

"Come at me!"

The many clones activated rushing towards and around her as she summoned her scythe. "Let's do this." She swung hitting two at the same time then jumped moving out of the way grabbing one as she landed and watched it get shattered by the others. "I know you're smarter than that." She caught a scythe and pulled the glass Zircon closer kicking it as it got closer. "Zircon!" She stopped and looked at Garnet when she heard her voice. "Yes?" Garnet dropped down kind of angry making a small crater as she did and started walking towards her summoning her gauntlets. "Fight me." "What? Why would I do that?" Garnet punched her way missing as she swiftly moved out of the way. "I have no reason to." Zircon caught her other fist and smiled at her. "Come on Garnet. You know you have to give me a good reason to fight you." Garnet kneed her in the stomach and watched her grab hold of it in utter pain. "Ok I'm guessing I deserved that.." Zircon stood up and sighed.

"I didn't mean to be that unexpected you know. I'm sorry if you didn't like it." Zircon said kind of jokingly. "That's the problem I did like it! But you and Pearl were meant to be together." "Look Garnet. I know you don't see that happening anymore I should say." "But Pearl still loves you!" "I'm sorry but the old Zircon is gone meaning that the feeling a had for Pearl are also gone." Zircon put her hand out and waited on Garnet to grab it. "How are you able to keep changing my future vision." "Because I know you." The realization struck Garnet like a spear. "I can't." Zircon walked up to her and held her hands.

"You can if you wanted." Zircon held her close and moved her out of the way of the gigantic hand that came crashing through the sand. "What is that?" Garnet looked back at the hand and slightly pushed off of Zircon. "Stevens dream gem." Zircon moved her again when another hand came out and watched as it rose from the sand. "He dreamt that thing up?" They watched as Pearl, Steven, and Connie ran towards them. "It's back!?" Pearl said standing next to the two. "It never got defeated." They looked at Steven then back at the large gem liking in its eyes. "This isn't going to be easy..is it?"
