"How are you doing Connie?" Connie opened her eyes and saw Zircon sitting on the coffee table across from her. "I'm fine thanks." "look." Zircon said pointing at her chest. "All you needed was a good rest am I right?" "I do feel much better..yea! Thank you Zircon!" "anytime." Zircon stood up and headed outside to look at the beach and the ocean as the sun rose. "I can hear you." She said to Garnet and Pearl. Garnet and Pearl stopped sneaking and walked up to her stopping beside her not making eye contact. "What do you want?" "To apologize.." Pearl said. "To say it the right way." Garnet said. "What makes you think and apology or a sorry would change anything?" Zircon tightly gripped the wood making it creak a little under pressure.

   "You two used me for your own benefits. You sat there and told me you loved me just for me to fuse with you! I can't just forget that happened after you say sorry! Pearl, we had history and I thought having that would've driven you away from something like this. Garnet, I just...can't believe you would actually sit there and think to yourself maybe she'll never find out. But instead of you two telling me the truth you sat there and lied to my face giving me false love. I thought I finally found something that was so hard to achieve. I thought I couldn't care about or love anyone until you two came along. I thought you two were going to show me how wrong I was but really you showed me that I was right..I got shattered, beaten, and banished to protect you two and I get this..betrayal and lies."
    "We didn't mean for you to find out this way Zircon.." Zircon looked at Pearl and shook her head. "If only you understood how much I want to shatter both of you..." Garnet and Pearl looked away when the wood split a little bit. "But I made a promise to Steven to forgive you two so...I do but I will not be feeding into anything you two do anymore. I'm keeping our conversations short from now on." Zircon let go of the wood and walked back inside leaving the two alone. "She has every right to be angry at us doesn't she?" Garnet looked at Pearl and nodded her head. "She does. And we have every right to repay her what we've done to her. Connie told me what we did was ten times worse than anything that's happened to us." Pearl sighed and turned to face the house holding her hands on her chest.

    "She even told us how she felt about this situation before it happened didn't she?" "She did and we still did it out of lust." They watched as Zircon sat next to Connie and closed her eyes. "Let go to our rooms we can do nothing more here Pearl." The two walked off and split as they went into their rooms. Zircon opened her eyes when she heard the doors shut and got up summoning her scythe. She looked around and quickly went out of the house. Not noticing Steven she passed by him when he sat on the steps watching her. "Zircon?" He followed after her quietly so she didn't noticed and watched as she started dancing on the water making it rise up and splash full of colors. "Woah..." He watched the water show in awe and smiled at her finale. "That was so pretty.." He said to himself. He looked back down at her and saw her crash down on her hands and knees crying.

"Zircon..."

   He went down and got closer so he could hear what she was saying. "I should have never came!" She said slamming her fist down on top of the ocean. "But then I wouldn't have met Steven or Connie..they're so great..they taught me more than I actually knew. Amethyst is great too..Garnet..and Pearl..!" She punched the ocean making a wave crash into the sand. "Yikes!" Steven grabbed onto the rock as it came crashing down so he didn't get caught by the strong water. "That was close." He looked back where Zircon was and didn't see her sitting there. "I lost her.." "No you didn't." He jumped up in fear when he noticed her beside him. "I WASNT SPYING!!" "Its ok Steven..I understand that you're worried about me." "I was, I see how hurt you are after what you know..Garnet and Pearl did. But I thought Garnet truly cared and loved you the way she acted when I lost your piece.." "It was fake..to get me to stay with her so she could continue using me." "She unfused and everything!" "Fake..I can't believe I didn't see it! I'm so stupid and blind. I just wanted to have something I was never able to achieve Steven and just when I finally think I achieve it I lose two things I thought I could trust. Steven...whatever you do when you grow up..don't you ever use anybody for anything you're better than that, you know what's right and what's wrong. Yes you're still human but you're one smart kid and that's what people like about you. Don't ever let your kindness be taken for any type of weakness always stay strong no matter what happens ok?" He shook his head and leaned on her chest.

   "Life isn't always stars and rainbows like they say it is, it gets hard really hard we lose people we love and we face enemies we can't beat..remember that even though it might seem impossible it isn't there's always a light through the darkness no matter what the situation is." She sighed and held him tighter trying not to cry. "Don't you ever forget that Steven." He looked up at her as she wiped her face and smiled. "I won't forget.."
