Garnet got up breathing heavily and looked at Zircon. "You're trying to hard Garnet, calm yourself." Garnet nodded her head and put her fist up again. "If you use all of your strength in one punch you'll run out of stamina quicker." "Got it." Garnet put half of her force in one punch making Zircon stumble back and quickly put full force on her next one knocking her down. "Good Garnet!" Zircon got up and put her hands on her hips.

   "But how affective will it be if I fight back?" She ran towards Garnet and ducked down when she swung lifting her up in the air, slamming her on the ground. Garnet punched Zircon as she got up making her freeze for a minute. "How were you able to do that so easily?" Zircon caught Garnets fist and pinned her to the ground. "You don't feel that weird air?" Garnet got up and put her hand on her shoulder. "What are you feeling?" Zircon grabbed her arm and looked out to the ocean.

"...I have a really bad feeling.."

    Garnet shook her a little bit making her look up at her. "If anything comes and tries to hurt you again we'll definitely be there to help." "As long as it's not what I think it is then we will always fight together." Zircon stood straight up and sighed in relief. "I haven't been this active in so long. It's exciting really, all these things happening all these enemies to fight. They might be tough but they're an amazing asset to all of this." "I forgot you were always the type to love fighting ." "Why not? It's kind of in my nature, you know this Garnet." Pearl and Steven waved at Garnet and Zircon as they got in the car to leave. "Amethyst is with Peridot and Lapis if you need her!" "Thanks for the info!!" Zircon and Garnet Sat there quietly for a few minutes and smiled at each other.

   "Finally we can stop being responsible." Zircon laid in the sand and patted the ground next to her. "Come on Garnet come on and relax with me." Garnet Sat down crossing her legs, sitting up straight. "Don't you just love the ocean?" Zircon looked at Garnet as she kept talking in slight fascination. "The sunset is always beautiful no matter what." "Jeez Garnet I've never heard you talk so calm and free before." "I never had any time to be calm and free." Zircon let her tension fade away as she closed her eyes and smiled. "Nows the time to enjoy every bit of it." They both Sat there quietly and awkwardly for a brief moment.

  "Wow, there is absolutely nothing to do." "I guess we were just meant to be responsible." They stood up and looked around trying to at least find something to do. "We should go on a mission or something." Garnet opened her mouth to respond but got cut off when she felt a strong vibration under her feet. "What is that?" They both looked into the ocean and stood tall when they saw Jasper crawl out of the blue water. "Jasper!" Garnet put her gauntlets on ready to fight. "Where is Rose?" "Shes not here!" Jasper summoned her helmet and ran towards Garnet. "Have you not learned your lesson last time we fought?" Garnet grabbed her head and struggled to get her down.

   "You seem distracted!" Zircon walked over to the two and kicked Jasper down crossing her arms as she looked up at her. "You're one of those Zircons!" Zircon picked Jasper up and looked into her eyes. "I'm THE Zircon the one and only!" She put her down and watched Jasper bow down to her and shook her head. "I didn't realize! I'm sorry My Diamond." "If you want a fight come back when you actually have back up." Jasper got up grunting and walked back into the sea. "I'll be back alright." "Zircon we could've stopped her!" Zircon shook her head and put her hand up. "I want to get her later." Garnet put her gauntlets away and crossed her arms. "You were always the one to wait for them to get stronger for a real challenge." "You know me well maybe even better than Pearl." Garnet chuckled and tilted her shades.

    "That's not even close to possible and you know it. She might not show it but she loves you very much." Zircon smiled still staring at the ocean thinking to herself for a moment. "Maybe you're right..but that doesn't mean she'll get Rose out of her head." "That's where you're wrong Zircon. She might be stubborn now but you know you can change that in an instant if you wanted." "I wish it actually worked like that Garnet..but this time I think Rose really got to her not that I despise Rose or anything but she could've at least left some good memories about me." "You told Rose to protect her and she did. Rose did what you asked and you resented it..Zircon you have to see that she was protecting her from her memories. If she were to remember what happened when she was around Rose she would've broken down in battle and gotten herself killed."
     "I understand.." "do you really?" "I do, sitting here thinking about it and all." "I'm glad you do you were always the one to catch on quickly." Zircon Sat back on the sand and sighed. "This day actually turned out to be pretty interesting despite the fact we didn't do anything." "Well we did a little bit of something today. You kicking Jasper down and frightening her was pretty interesting." "I wonder where she's going to find an army..." Garnet Sat next to her and shrugged her shoulders. "Who knows." "Of all people I thought you'd know." "You'd be suprised about my limits Zircon. You have to remember not everyone is as great as you." "I have my flaws too you know." They both laughed and laid back looking at the sky. "Thanks for being there Garnet." "Anytime."

"Zircon...why would you make me do this to you." The black gem stood on top of the light house and stared down at Zircon with its yellow glowing eyes.
