Here I attempted to copy the famous medieval painting known as "The Death Dealer". It was mainly to do a horse and intense shading with black. For reference, here's the actual painting:

I did change a few things, such as try to make the horse smaller and/or more realistic, basing the heightened muscles on real pictures. One problem I encountered was the flame. The painting makes it out to be a sort of pile of flame. I tried to make it look like actual flame consuming something in the background.
Besides those flaws, I'm overall really proud of this. I love how the horse came out, and I think my version of the Dealer looks like the painting's little brother.
Please let me know your opinion! I may do more Death Dealer in order to work on anatomy by copying realistic paintings.
And due to it being Inktober, I may pen this over. If the ink bleeds into the page, I may have to do that regardless of what month it is.
