Sorry for the constant teasing and uploading of the pic in pieces. It'll be a minute before it's complete, but I just finished a key part; the Magic rune.
I did this by doing LAYERS of orange and yellow, all with the same design, slightly changing hues or blurring. Then I went over with a bright yellow to give the rune a 3D look.
The circle was completed by importing a circle line art and going over with a large lightbrush. The straight lines were done through Procreate's straight line-making feature.
All the symbols are custom and from my head, even derived from electrical engineering symbols which I thought would look cool.
Please let me know of your opinions! Are the lines too thick? Should there be more symbols? This rune was completely custom, so opinions would be appreciated.
I know this looks a little flat because of the lack of shading or glow or lighting, but this will be done.
