The next day Tyler woke up to light pouring through the blinds.
He carefully sat up in the bed, running his hand through his messy hair.
A sense of peace was felt, as he saw the blue curls that he now connected to Josh.
He was still asleep, a big pink blanket covering only one of his legs.
The brunette smiled, because he was could get used to this.
He had never felt so relaxed, so awake.
He wondered how it felt to wake up like this every day.
"Hey," Tyler was startled by the sudden voice, watching as Josh sat up and ran his hand through his messy hair.
Tyler noticed that his voice was apperantly deeper in the morning.
"H-Hi," he responded, watching as Joshua stretched and stood up, pulling his FOB shirt down slightly.
"You hungry?" He asked causally, heading towards the stairs.
Tyler responded with a 'mhm', not knowing if he should stay in place or follow Josh.
"Lets go upstairs, I'm sure my mom left some money for food."
So the brunette followed after Josh, taking hesitant steps, before he was finally upstairs.
The house was clean, he noticed. It wasn't exactly small, but it wasn't huge. It didn't have doors, it was an open space. A couch immediately to the right of him, a TV in front of it, and a dining table behind it.
The kitchen was right next to the two, making it easy to carry food to the dining table.
"She left 120 bucks, not bad," Joshua exclaimed from his position by the fridge.
Tyler suddenly gasped, jumping back a bit when he felt something against his legs.
He looked down, seeing a small animal. A cat with brown fur.
Josh chuckled slightly, walking towards Tyler and picking up the furry creature.
"This is ruby, she's my cat. Don't mind her, she doesn't bite."
Tyler seemed curious in Josh's eyes, his subtle movements and frantic eyes showed it.
He found it quite cute though.
"You can pet her, here," the curly haired boy exclaimed, putting her on the floor, and watching as she scurried towards the couch.
"You can sit over there with her if you want, I'm gonna...actually," Joshua exclaimed, furrowing his eyebrows in thought, before a smile came upon his face.
"Do you wanna get IHOP? It's not too far from here."
The brunette furrowed his eyebrows, still standing in the same place.
"W-What's IHOP?"
Joshua chuckled, walking towards the big couch.
"It's like a...it's a restaurant, where they serve food. Mainly breakfast."
"I-I...t-that sounds fun," the small boy said, shifting from foot to foot nervously.
Joshua smiled, excited to go somewhere fun.
"Lets go then."
