Chapter 16- Mall

"Let's do something, something that'll get my mind off this."

"W-What do you want to do?" 

"Lets go shopping."

So they did, Tyler borrowing some black skinny jeans and a red plaid long sleeved button up shirt from Josh, including a long green jacket that Joshua insisted Tyler wore, he thought it looked nice.

The two boys walked on the pavement, their footsteps synchronized as Joshua led the way.

It made the brunette a little nervous, to be around so many people. Who knows what could happen? This was a bad idea, yet neither of them cared.

"T-There's so many...people."

The blue haired boy chuckled, still walking in sync with the brunette.

"I know bub, stay with me."

Tyler blushed awkwardly as Joshua reached over and carefully locked hands with the brunette.

It was a friendly gesture, their fingers were not interlocked, it was only so that they wouldn't lose each other. At least that's what it was suppose to be. But it was obvious that both their cheeks were tinted pink as they made their way through the large mall.

Once they were both up the stairs, millions of stores were held before them.

"W-What is this place again?" The brunette asked, realizing that his hand was still in Joshua's, yet not doing anything about it.

"It's called a Mall, they have a bunch of stores where you can buy cool things."

"That sounds fun."

"It is, let's go."

The first store they entered was a shop called "HELLO ANIME," which the brunette shyly insisted on going to, only because of the curiosity that sparked when he saw a big totoro plushie on display.

"It's cute," Joshua exclaimed, watching as the brunettes eyes flashed at the sight of all the plushies.

Tyler gasped, seeing the totoro section, rows of rotors plushies and keychains in all different sizes.

"Look! This ones almost as big as me!" He excitingly exclaimed, running towards the big totoro plus his with sleepy eyes. It was the biggest one there, being more than half the size of the brunette.

The blue haired boy smiled, watching as Tyler happily admired the toy, touching the soft attached to it.

"What does the tag say?" Joshua questioned, now standing next to the slim boy.

Tyler playfully wiggled his eyebrows as he searched for the tag, causing Joshua to burst out laughing.

"How do you do that?!" He asked, still laughing at the action.

"I don't know, but it's fun."

Josh shook his head, a smile still on his face.

"The tag says.... 60.99...I-is that too much?" Tyler asked, turning his head to look at Joshua. The brunette didn't know his money worked, so it was a reasonable question.

The blue haired boy sighed, his heart breaking at the brunette reaction.

"It's too much, it's okay."

"No no, it's not too much. I'll buy it for you."

Tyler's expression immediately brightened, his teeth showing as he smiled, squealing quietly as he wrapped his arms around the big toy.

Once everything was payed for, they walked out of the store, Tyler happily carrying his technically first present, while Joshua's heart leapt out of his chest at the sight of the brunette looking so happy. Childlike, and adorable.

"Thank you," the slim boy whispered, leaning into Joshua playfully.

"Don't thank me, you deserve it."
