Christina
What happens when you see your ex-boyfriend, especially when your relationship with him did not end on a good note? Well.. Thats exactly what was going through my mind. Should I go say hi? I thought nah. That would be way too awkward. But I can't behave like a kid. Im 23 for goodness sake! Argh I guess I will just have to see how this goes. Maybe he'll confront me himself?
"Uh hi dad." Sam replied to his father a little awkwardly.
"What are you kids waiting there for come on and have a seat!" Mr Monroe suggested. Why did he seem so happy? Ugh this really sucks.
Luke and Sam quickly shuffled towards the table and took their seats next to their parents. It seemed that fate really wanted me to patch things up with Sam, seeing as Luke was sitting next to his mom and his dad occupied the front chair and Sam had taken the one next to his dad. The only seat available in the family dinning table was next to none other than that cocky little a** SAM!
As I motioned towards the seat, I saw Sam giving me a smirk as if he knew exactly what I was thinking.
I snorted at him and took my seat. Just as I sat down I felt someone tug at my feet.
"What the hell Luke why are you kicking me?" I muttered under my breath so only he could here.
"Sorry?" he looked up from his plate.
"Um I guess you did it accidently sorry."
After the main course was served, I felt the need to talk because the Monroes never talked while having dinner. Sure they always had dinner as a family together no matter how rich they were, Stacy had always maintained one rule that at dinner there would be no talks. All that was saved for afterwards.
"Excuse me, I need to use the washroom" wow that was such a lame excuse to talk I thought to myself. Now I really have to go to the washroom. Well it should be good atleast I will be able to think about this whole Sam situation.
"Okay sweety, but do you know where it is?" Stacy asked.
Shit. I never thought about that.
"Yeah don't worry about it I'll look for it myself or maybe ask some of the helpers to guide me."
"No no Christy, I'm sure Sam wouldn't mind to show you the washroom." she said looking between me and Sam.
"Sure mom, I'll show her the way." Sam got up and took my arm.
I sighed at the contact he made with my skin. This really sucks. But then I remembered, I'm sure I saw a bathroom in Lukes quarters. Yes yes! I did!
"Actually Sam, thats alright I think I'll just go to Lukes room to use the washroom. Thanks." I forced a tight smile.
"Well. If you say so." He shrugged and sat in his place again.
"I will be right back. Please continue with your dinner." I said to them with a smile and walked out of the room.
Thank God. That was close it felt like I was there for an eternity. I went up the stairs and reached the second floor. I walked straight towards the west wing and thought of Lukes idea earlier of sitting in the pool with the jacuzzi on with soft music. But then I din't have a swimming costume so I thought of going to the washroom and freshening up a bit. I was so sure I looked like a mess.
When I entered the room, I went through all the pictures that were hung on the walls, some of them were really so hilarious. One of them had Lukes hand across a hot girl with long wavy blonde hair she was only wearing her lower panties and nothing else. Her hair covered the upper part of her chest and Luke was staring at her with eyes wide open and his hands over his mouth with a big 'O'.
