Some Fate?

The door opened by one of the all time maids who worked there and she greeted me with a smile. I smiled back at her in recognition and made my way inside the house. Feelings of pure ecstasy were getting their way into my heart as I realized I would be getting back with the person who made me feel the way I did just right now. How I wish things were simple for me as they were with other people in love.

Infact now, I had absolutely no reason to think about such things. I was going to be in my happy place with Sam as before.

Walking inside the house, I couldn't see anybody and I wondered where they were at this hour of the day soon I realised I should have asked the maid who opened the door.

I turned myself around slowly looking everywhere maybe the maid was somewhere around here?

"Hello Clarissa?" I called out to the maid.

I walked to the kitchen maybe she was in there.. Unfortunately nobody was there too. Where were the others?

My guess was I should come back later or maybe I should just give a call to either Sam or Luke.

I checked my phone just to remember that I dint have Sam's number as yet. I tried calling Luke but he wasn't picking up his phone. I tried calling him a couple of times but it just went to voicemail.

A little later I was tired of waiting for them and was about to head out of the house, when my phone started vibrating in my hand bag.

Removing it quickly from the bag I answered the call without looking at the caller id.

"Hello?" I spoke into the phone.

"Hello, Christina you had called I am so sorry I couldn't answer your call I was in a important meeting. Are you okay? You called quiet a lot of times." Luke said a little too fast.

"I'm fine Luke, I called because I'm at your place and well obviously you aren't here neither is Sam." I told him, my eyebrows creasing together.

"Oh what are you doing at home? Aren't you supposed to be at hospital?" he asked confusion evident in his voice.

"Well.. I am supposed to be at the hospital but, I needed to speak to Sam and when none of you'll were home, I realized I didn't have Sam's number and you know the rest.." my voice trailed ending my explanation.

"Okay I don't understand. Did you just say you wanted to speak to my brother or did I just totally imagine that?" he said completely surprised by my words.

I laughed wholeheartedly at his statement and nodded.

"Let's just say that Sam has got himself another chance with me." I told him.

"Whoa that was um unexpected. Anyway I think you should tell me everything once I reach home in uh...the next ten minutes. I have a lot of questions missy!" he said in a girls voice.

I laughed once again and replied "Yes ma'am!" in a mocking voice.

Before I hung up I heard him start the engine of his car, proving he meant his word.

Shaking my head, a chuckle escaped from me as I went to make myself comfortable upstairs in Luke's room.

Sometime later I thought I heard someone make their way into the room. I was laying on Luke's bed with my eyes closed resting on my back with my chest rising and falling as I breathed deeply wondering just how I would explain this whole change of mind to Luke.

I smiled slightly, my eyes still closed in relaxing manner.

The footsteps of the person who came into the room was sounding a little nearer now, I was sure it was Luke who would try to scare me. He knows my weakness is I'd got scared when I was asleep.

Mentally I was thinking of a way to let his plan work out to an extent by faking a scream and horrid eyes. Just as I felt him come near me, I was guessing trying to come closer to me to scare me I smiled wider.

I was waiting for Luke to make his move so I could pull my part of the plan in action, when I felt a pair of lips capture my now vulnerable mouth.

My mind registered the lips to be that of Luke but when I snapped my eyes open it was someone I expected to meet a little later.

He pulled back and smiled at me, his smile making his deep blue eyes sparkle in amusement and happiness. My heart started thudding hard within my rib cage wanting its way out to the man staring at me with a gleeful smile.

"Sam..." I struggled to say his name and when it came out it was very hoarse from the little while that hadn't spoken.

"So a little birdie told me you were here to meet me and when I saw you here in bed with your eyes closed and your lips parted in a smile I just couldn't help myself from kissing you. You look beautiful Christina. Have I told you that?" Sam said, his voice low and manly.

I blushed and turned my head to the other side and I almost forgot what I had come to tell him. I hoped my response to his words explained what I wanted to tell him.

"Look here christy. Look me in the eyes and tell me why you came to meet me." he said turning my head with his thumb and forefinger at my chin making me look up into his pool blue eyes.

It took me a minute to reply as I felt myself getting lost in his hansome face.

"I um, I came to -"

I was broken off by a deep male voice.

"Um disgusting!" Luke said making gaggin sounds.

"Could you guys please get up from this very intimate position in my room on my bed. It kinda freaks me out to see my brother and best friend this way." he continued when we still hadn't gotten up from our "intimate" position.

Instead of doing what he said we both ended up laughing loud at what Luke had just said. A little later, Luke had to come and get his brother off me so that he wouldn't actually have to throw up.

Sam and I cracked up into fits of laughter once again when Luke awkwardly made his way in his room tossing things here and there.

Once our laughing fit came to an hurtful end, I heard Luke say something.

"Sorry what did you say?" I asked.

"Hm I just asked are you guys together now? Like officially?" he said looking at us.

I knew why he was saying that, since Sam had one of his hand around my waist and the other one was interlaced with my hand.

Sam looked down at our interlaced hand and then up at me with a questioning face.

"I guess so?" I answered mostly to myself still looking at Sam.

He grinned hearing what I said and brought his hands around my waist in a swift motion spinning me around in the room not leaving my gaze once.

Once Sam had put me down he kissed me on the lips briefly and mouthed I love you. Before I could say anything back, Luke mumered something.

"What?" Sam said.

"Just take it outside bro, I don't want to see all that!" he said wincing at both of us.

I rolled my eyes at that and dragged Sam out of Luke's room.

"You still owe me an explanation Chrissy." Luke reminded me as we went past him.

"Sure sure" I said and walked out hand in hand with the man I love.

yay they are together finally!

But... Christina has yet to tell Sam that personally!
