"You know what's on my mind?" I said suddenly a little later that day to Kate.

She raised her eyebrow in response as I just had a very smug thought of going shopping in my mind.

"Oh no no no!" Kate retorted as if she could read my mind. "I know that expression of yours missy. You are not doing any more shopping for atleast the next month. Do you even know how many new clothes you've got?" she rambled on.

I just rolled my eyes at her speech and cooly said "I know that! But... I wasn't talking about shopping for myself, I was planning on taking you shopping. You know like a small gift for you from here..?"

To that, her lips formed into an a huge 'O' as she started going in the world, a shopaholic would dream off every night.

Laughing at my best friend as she sat on the couch, in her pajamas with that cute dreamy expression, I tugged at her hand and said; "Come on dreamy head lets get ready and go to the mall, before Liam and Sam kill us for having that thought." nearly turning my back, I was stopped by her as she said something I forgot was still unspokenly accepted by her.

"You sneaky girl!" she exclaimed. "You never did tell me in detail about Sam and yourself." Kate started that can catch a guilty person and make them feel bad about their doings.

Unconsciously I bit my tongue inside my mouth a little too hard and turned completely to face her, her eyes were narrowed and her jaw was set showing that I had no chance of backing out of that topic this time.

I smiled at her sheepishly and said; "Okay, I know you deserve to know about it all but, can we please please talk about this once we're in the mall?"

"I am not giving up this time. Nuh uh." She said as she shook her head.

"Ugh fine, lets get changed and talk or else we'd be late." I settled on saying finally.

She laughed and jumped as if thats the only talk that could make her feel happy and I laughed along with her too, excited too maybe?

A little while later--------------

"Oh so he actually begged you to give him a chance? Aw that is soo.... sweet!" Kate said a dreamy smile forming her face as we walked to the car that was waiting to take us to one of Questel's high end malls.

"I know, well soon after that Sam asked me out on a date and it was at the hotel I was at this morning. You have to see it! Its so beautiful!!"

"Yeah we definitely need to see it if thats what you describe it as." She agreed and got inside the sleek grey mercedes that was waiting at the entrance of La Forte hotel.

"So yeah that's very much it. I'm guessing we are together atleast until of course he 'decides' to cheat on me." I muttered sarcastically, as I followed her inside.

"You still don't trust him do you?" Kate asked seriously, turning herself to look at me.

"I dont know Kate, I'm just so confused. Whatever I felt with him last night was definitely all good and heavenly and just perfect but when I'm not with him, like I'm not right now, I feel like he's going to do something to break my heart all over again." I could just feel myself mumbling all that was inside me, while staring at the front seat.

"Don't worry baby. He wouldn't do that. You both are mature adults now, long past the hormones and wavering minds. If he did not want you back he wouldn't have gone through all the trouble that you mentioned to me about, so relax and just enjoy what you have with him okay?" as she said that suddenly, I understood what Kate said was right. Maybe I was just overthinking things? Right, I'm just insecure.
