"(Y/n)! Wait up!" Zelda cried, trying to catch up to her cousin as she ran farther ahead, slamming her door shut once she entered her room. Stopping at the door, Zelda tried to open it, only to find that it was locked," (Y/n)...open the door, please."

"Go away...I don't wish to speak to anyone at the moment..." (Y/n)'s voice came from the other side as Zelda sighed, turning to face Misty and Link.

"Come on, (Y/n)! We can help!" Misty cried, smiling as she hoped her friend would open to door and let them it, only for it to quickly fade.

"Go. Away."

Misty sighed as well, looking down with sadness in her eyes," this is no good...I don't think she'll be coming out anytime soon..."

"I don't blame her, I would be upset too if I had to marry someone I didn't know..." Zelda whispered, shaking her head.

"Is this something all royals have to do or is it just here?" Link asked as Zelda shrugged.

"Depends on the family. My parents, for example, married out of love. There was no arrangement or deal but (Y/n)'s parents married as a treaty for their two kingdom's. I bet this is what (y/n)'s marriage will be too...some kind of treaty with whatever kingdom this Prince is from," Zelda explained as Misty nodded.

"Yeah, my mother did tell me something like that. If two royals from two different kingdom marry, it acts like a treaty and their less likely to have wars afterwards unless the two divorce or whatever. Man, that sucks though...I don't think I could ever marry some random man I didn't know," Misty shook her head as the other two nodded.

"Hopefully this all works out for (Y/n)...maybe this Prince will be kind of nice," Zelda shrugged once again.

"The King and Queen seem to get along with each other and their from an arranged marriage. Maybe (Y/n) will love this Prince guy like her mother loves her father!" Misty smiled, nodding as she turned, walking down the halls with Zelda before they both looked back at Link," you coming?"

"U-Uh, I'm going to stay here and wait for (Y/n) to come out, that way I can talk to her when she does," he gestured back to the locked door as the girls nodded.

"Alright just don't say anything to make her more upset either, Link," Zelda gave him a warning glare before heading off with Misty.

Link sighed, leaning his back against the door and staring at the ceiling of the hallway. He honestly wanted to know who this Prince (Y/n) was suppose to marry was and what he was like. From what the Queen said, (Y/n) must marry the Prince in two mouths. Was that really enough time to fall in love with someone? It kind of put a lot of pressure on her in Link's eyes.

Shaking his head, he sat down and slowly closed his eyes, falling asleep there as he was very tired after the long trip there and all. Before he even knew it, he was fast asleep there.

~~~Time Skip~~~
The door slowly opened to the room causing Link's eyes to open the second he felt himself begin to fall backwards. Hit the ground, he looked up only to meet a pair of (e/c) eyes staring down at him with shock and worry," Link? Are you alright? What are you doing sleeping outside my door?"
"I-I uh...I wanted to talk to you when you came out. A-Are you okay?" He asked, pushing himself up to a sitting position.
"...Not really..." (Y/n) whispered after being quiet for a few seconds, looking down to her side.
"Is there anything I can do to help?" Link asked, rubbing the back of his neck as (Y/n) shook her head, sighing a bit.
"No...I am afraid there is nothing anyone can do. I will have to marry this Prince no matter what..." she trailed off, rubbing the side of her arm," I am sorry this all is happening when Zelda and you are visiting. I was hoping to be a normal family for once just while you guys were here."
"'Normal family'? If you don't mind me asking, what's your relationship usually like with you and your parents?" Link questioned as (Y/n) shrugged.
"Its...not the best relationship we could have. I remember I use to be so close to my mother and father when I was little but...as time went on we kind of just drifted apart," she explained, shaking her head a bit.
"Don't worry Princess, I'm sure this will all work out somehow. You never know, maybe...maybe the Prince will be very nice and you'll fall in love with him," Link smiled, trying this stay positive about everything as (Y/n) smiled slightly herself, nodding.
"I guess. Thank you, Link," she dipped her head as Link nodded with a small blush on his cheeks.
"Yeah, of course...you should maybe get some sleep since its getting late, clear your mind a bit. I'll see you in the morning."
"Alright. Goodnight Link and thank you."
"Your welcome. Goodnight Princess," he bowed, hurrying off and leaving her as she watched him go, giggling to herself.
'What a strange boy he is but then again, I do suppose he is kind of cute...'
