"H-Hiya P-Princess...hehe..."

"Link, what are you doing here? And why where you up in that tree?" (Y/n) asked, looking from the boy to the top of the tree with wide eyes.

"W-Well I was...um..." Link looked away, rubbing the back of his neck nervously as he tried to think of a good reason to tell her.

"E-Excuse me but can you please get off of me...?" Alex muttered quietly as Link looked to him, pushing himself off the poor Prince as he sat up, rubbing his head.

"Are you two okay?" (Y/n) asked, looking to both boys with concern flashing in her eyes as they both nodded.

"I'm fine," they both said at the same time, looking to each other when they did.

"I didn't ruin your date, did I?" Link asked, secretly hoping he did.

"It wasn't a date," (Y/n) replied quickly as Alex nodded.

"And you didn't ruin anything, don't worry," Alex added yet Link didn't really care about how the Prince felt as the Princess's feelings were much more important to him.

"That's good I guess. I just thought it would be fun to...go for a climb and the branch broke so..." Link lied, not wanting to tell the two he was spying on them so Alex won't get to close to (Y/n).

"Oh, the makes since...I guess," (Y/n) looked up the tree once more, smiling," well now that your here, do you want to stay and hang out with us?"

"Alright then," Link nodded, celebrating inside his head since it was much easier to get between the two when he was next to them and not up in a tree spying.

"So, Link, how long are you staying here in Termina? Will you be here for the wedding?" Alex asked, smiling as he leaned back a bit. Link blinked, thinking about what he said.

"Now that you mention that, Zelda and Link were to stay for only two to three weeks, not two mouths...and I was really hoping they could stay for the wedding," (Y/n) gasped, frowning as did Link.

'Now how am I going to keep (Y/n) from loving Alex-not that I am but if I was...' Link thought, growling in his head.

"Won't the King and Queen let them stay longer?" Alex questioned as Link sighed.

"They'd probably let Zelda stay but not me. I'm not family of their's and I have no purpose in the wedding," he pointed out as Alex hummed, looking down before smiling.

"What if you did have a part in the wedding?"

"Hm? What do you mean?"

"Well what if you were to be one of my groomsmen, with Aryan?" Alex suggested as Link's eyes went wide.

"That's a good idea. If you wanted to do that, the King and Queen won't have much to say against it," (Y/n) clapped her hands together as Alex looked back to Link.

"So what do you say? Would you be one of my groomsmen?" Alex asked. Link looked to Prince, completely shocked.

"You would want me as one of your groomsmen...?" He asked, rasing an eyebrow.

"Oh course."

"A-Alight. Sounds good," Link nodded hesitantly as Alex and (Y/n) smiled brightly.

"We'll have to tell the King and Queen that Link will be one of your groomsmen and Zelda can be my bridesmaid, that way they can both stay for the wedding," (Y/n) giggled as Link and Alex smiled, looking to each other.

Link didn't know why but Alex seemed pretty nice however at the same time he still didn't trust him. Maybe it was the fact he was to marry (Y/n)? Link won't say it if you asked him but...he liked (y/n) a lot more than any girl he's meet. She was beautiful, sweet, funny and great company too. What wasn't there to like? If only he was a Prince and was able to marry her...wouldn't that be something?

"Link is to be one of your groomsmen?" A new voice came, sounding a bit...mad.

The trio turned their heads, spotting none other than Prince Aryan as he stood there, his eyes narrowed mainly at Link making him feel uncomfortable.

"Y-Yes. I thought it would be nice to have Link be a groomsman along with you-" Alex explained nervously as Aryan glared at him causing the poor Prince to shut his mouth.

"But he is to leave soon, didn't you know?" Aryan smiled the best he could at his brother, trying not to look upset or mad however Link could see pass the lie of a smile.

"Well with Link being Alex's groomsman, my mother and father must let him stay for the wedding," (Y/n) looked to the older Prince as he turned to her, only just then seeming to see her there with the two boys.

"O-Oh, right, right. If you can excuse us Princess, I would like to speak to my brother dear alone, if you don't mind," Aryan glared at his brother but no one seemed to see but Alex.

"Of course not. Go ahead. Come on Link, lets go walk around the rest of the garden," (Y/n) stood up, offering a hand to Link as he took it, standing up as a blush surfaced on his cheeks.

"Thank you, Princess," Aryan bowed his head as (Y/n) nodded, waving to the two.

"See you later, Prince's~"

Link looked back to the two males, flinching as he saw Aryan glaring coldly at him, his eyes filled with hate. Alex on the other hand stood up, cupping his hands in front of him as he watched (Y/n) and Link walk off. Link saw a strange look in his eyes, one that look like a begging look for the two to come back and not leave him with his brother. Link didn't blame the Prince, Aryan didn't seem to nice.

The older Prince seemed to be very angry at his brother's choose to let the hero be his groomsmen, not that it was even a big deal. Now the wedding day that was less than two mouths away is going to be the worst day of the boys life, having to not only stand next to the glaring, talkative, Prince, but have to watch the girl he really did love get handed off to someone other guy who he was sure wasn't worth her as not even he was worth something as great as the Princess...Yes, the hero was going to hate that day so much...
