|| Chapter 16 || The Prince and the Sorceress

(Link's P.O.V)

I slowly opened my eyes, my headbanging still. At first everything was dark as it took a second for my eyes to adjust. I could hear multiple things around me however I couldn't even think as my mind felt blank.

'What happened? Where am I?' was all I could think as I listened closey to the sounds around me. I could hear the crackling of fire and what sounded like voices...fate voices in the distance.

I slowly turned my head, looking to my side to see a fire. I was in a cave of some short as the fire was in the center, burning brightly as it seemed to be made recently. 

I then snapped out of it a bit, realizing the distance voices were coming closer. I couldn't tell what they were saying but I heard two voices that's for sure. The first thing that came to mind was that Aryan had come with Alex...that had to be it.

I rolled onto my stomach, trying to crawl the best I could despite the pain I was in. I had to get out of here, before Aryan and Alex came. Aryan already tried to kill me, he'd probably just come to finish me off. 

I crawled as fast as I could however I just couldn't get very far, I was in to much pain to do so. With every second, the voices came closer and closer as I began to fear I won't be able to get away. Soon, I heard footsteps enter the cave as I closed my eyes tight, trying to just disappear.

"Oi! What is goddess's name are you doing?! Are you trying to hurt yourself even more!?" A voice scolded as I felt confused. It was the voice of Aryan nor Alex as it was a female's voice.

I suddenly felt myself be turned around as someone grabbed my shoulder. When I opened my eyes, I was faced with a girl I've never seen before. She had dark brown hair that almost looked black and bright green eyes that looked unnatural. She also wore a long dress that was many different shades of green. 

"I ask you a question," she growled, looking rather annoyed.

"I-I though you were s-someone else..." I whispered as she let go of my shoulder, standing straight with her hands on her hips.

"And who would that be?" She questioned.

"T-The guy who tried to kill me," I sat up, feeling like falling back down as it hurt to sit there. I looked down, seeing my stomach was wrapped in bandages along with the opposite shoulder than the one the girl grabbed.

"Oh...Prince Aryan...right..." was all she said as she turned, walking over to the fire.

"You know him?" I asked as she only nodded.

"Of course we know him~!" I jumped, turning my head to see a guy going through a bag on the other side of the cave. How long has he been there?

The boy had a lighter shade of brown hair as he wore a outfit with many different shades of purple. He looked up from the bag, laughing," you look real scared but I guess I don't blame you. If some Prince like Aryan tried to kill me then I woke up in a cave with two strangers, I'd be scared too."

"W-Who are you guys?" I asked, looking from the boy then the girl who was poking at the fire, her eyes not leaving it once.

"My names Prince Cody of the Rena Kingdom and that's Anti, she's the kingdom's sorceress~" The boy chirped, taking a bottle out of the bag and looking closely at it," we were traveling through the woods cause my sister sent me to help Anti look for herbs. I was looked around when I saw Prince Aryan then not to long after I ran into you passed out so I got the feeling he was the one to hurt you. I raced back to get Anti and we both took you here. Why were you even in the woods with that kind of guy? Don't you know he's dangerous?"
