Nothing was really said between the hero and Princess as they walked down the path of the garden. Ever since they left Aryan to talk with Alex, they simply walked at each others sides and looked around at the beautiful plants and flowers around them without a word.

Every once and awhile, Link would look to (Y/n), blushing once he did. She would always have a smile on her lips as her eyes would be sparkling in the light. She was beautiful as she always is...

There were times where Link would want to say something however he was to embarrassed or scared to say something to her. What if he was to mess up and say something wrong that insulted her? Sure, he's spoken to her plenty of times before but some else has always been around them when he has. Now it was just (Y/n) and him...alone...for a walk in the garden...like a date...

"So Link," Link tensed as (Y/n) looked to him, titling her head a bit," what's it like, being a hero and stuff? Is is fun?"

"I-Its hard but I guess it can be fun at times," Link looked away from her, the blush on his face returning.

"You get to travel a lot, don't you?" She asked as Link nodded.

"Yeah. I get to go to a lot of places and meet a lot of people, that's for sure..." Link trailed off while looking to the ground, remembering what Zelda told him about (Y/n) not being able to leave the castle and how he shouldn't bring up the outside world to much.

(Y/n) raised an eyebrow, noticing how he trailed off," what's wrong?"

"I just...I was just thinking about how you've never left the castle. I didn't want to make you feel like your missing out on anything," Link explained quietly as, to his surprise, (Y/n) laughed.

"Yeah, its sucks having to stay here, but maybe one day I can leave here," (Y/n) walked over to a bench set next to the garden pond, sitting on the wooden object as Link stood there, acting like he didn't know whether it was okay to sit or not. (Y/n) looked to him and giggled, patting the spot next to her," you can sit you know, I don't bite."

"I-I know, I..." Link walked over, sitting down a little ways from her with a sigh," I'm just not use to all this royal stuff..."

"That right, you must be use to being around Zelda, not me, my parents, and two Princes," (y/n) smiled a did Link.

"I feel out numbered..." he joked as (Y/n) laughed.

"I'm honestly happy you'll get to stay for the wedding now...the more people I know and love, the better," she looked out at the pond as Link blushed at the 'love' part, knowing she most likely mean't as friend love but still blushed none the less.

"I'm happy I get to stay too," he looked out at the pond as well, focusing on the golden water as the sunset reflected on it creating a very romantic scene.

Silence went over the two once again but this time it wasn't really an awkward silence as it was a...nice silence. The two sat there next to each other, enjoying the beautiful sunset in front of them. At some point, (Y/n) set her hand on top of Link's cause a silver to run down his spin and a blush to surface on his cheeks.

"Hey Link..." (Y/n) muttered as the blond hummed, trying to ignore the fact that her hand was touching his but no matter what he couldn't get rid of the blush," someday do you think I could get out of this castle?"

"I'm sure someday you will," Link assured her with a smile, nodding as he finally looked to her, praying she won't see the blush.

"Will you come with me then?" She asked, looking up to him with a light pink dusting her own cheeks. Link froze, his blue eyes meeting her (e/c) once once again," you've been to a lot of places and I would be very happy if one day you could show me around the places in Hyrule, so I could hear the stories you have to tell and the adventures you had as a hero."

"I-I..." Link blushed darkly, not being able to speak as he was at a loss of words. Finally, he snapped himself out of it, smiling at the Princess," o-of course. One day I can show you all of Hyrule."

(Y/n) smiled brightly, wrapping her arms around Link and bringing him into a hug as he froze once again, blinking," thank you..."

"Y-You welcome," Link hugged her back, smiling as he enjoyed this moment. It was a moment he never wanted to end really.

As they hugged, they both failed to notice Prince Alex walking down the path, looking around for the two as he was alone, his brother no where in sight.

The Prince stopped in his tracks, spotting Link and (Y/n) together...hugging. He stood there, his heart feeling as if it stopped as he legs felt like giving out from under him. Biting his lower lip, he shook his head and turned, running down the path as fast as he could and leaving them there.
