|| Chapter 23 || The Princess of Rena

(Link's P.O.V)

We only walked a little farther before Prince Cody soon stopped and stood between two bushes, staring into the clearing in front of him with a small smile," sister..."

I followed to where he was looking, seeing a girl standing with her back turned to us all. From what I could see, she wore a purple and gold dress and had long brown/gold hair like Cody's. She stood in front of a patch of dying purple lilies, kneeling down and lightly touching one of the pedals of one lilies. When she did, the flower glittered, standing tall and alive as did the others. Soon, every single on was alive and well...like magic.

She stood, turning her head and looking to us with wide blue eyes the color of sapphires," Cody...?"

The Prince smiled, running to her as she ran to him, both embracing as a smile made its way to the girls lips. She pulled away from him, running a hand threw his hair with a sigh a relief," I had a bad feeling that something was to happen to you when you didn't come back...I feared for the worst."

"I am fine, sister. Anti and I just ran into a bit of...trouble. But I want to you to meet someone," Cody turned away from the girl who I'm guessing is the Princess of Rena. He gestured to both (Y/n) and I," this is Link, the hero of Hyrule, and (Y/n), the Princess of Termina."

"It is a great pleasure to meet you both. My name is Ashley, Princess of Rena," she stepped forward, cupping her hands in front of her as she bowed to us.

"The pleasure is ours, Princess Ashley," (Y/n) and I bowed to her like she did us.

"Princess," Ashley turned her head to face Anti who stood near by, her expression serious," these two need your help with something. Ganondorf has taken over Termina castle."

Ashley's smile faded as she stared at Anti, shocked," Ganondorf...How?"

"He tried to have his youngest son marry me and even if he failed to do that, he still manged to take my Kingdom over..." (Y/n) explained, looking to the ground as Ashley frowned.

"This is no good..." she whispered mostly to herself.

"There must be something we can do to help them get Termina back, right sister?" Cody smiled at Ashley who thought for a moment, nodding.

"Well, we must, there's no doubt about it," Ashley nodded as (Y/n) smiled.

"Y-You will help?"

"Of course. Royals must help royals, correct?" she smiled, looking away from Cody and Anti to (Y/n).

"Oh thank you~"

"Your welcome. Now come, we should talk about this somewhere other than here," the Princess turned to her brother who nodded.

We all sat in the parlor of the castle, (Y/n) and I sitting next to each other, Cody and Ashley together opposite to us, and Anti sitting on her own. Once we all sat down, Ashley spoke again," please, tell me more about what happened so I can understand what we're truly dealing with."

"Well, Prince Alex and Aryan came to Termina castle earlier this month and all was normal then. Things didn't go wrong really until later on," (Y/n) began," it wasn't until Aryan tricked me into loving Alex by giving me a love potion."

"We were able to break the spell the day they were to be married but that's also the day Ganondorf showed up, wishing to take (Y/n) with him," I explained as well as Ashley listened silently.

"Just like his plan to get you by having you marry Aryan," Cody looked to the Princess who nodded.

"Hm...and he is still at the castle awaiting you?" she asked as (Y/n) and I nodded," Ganondorf is a tricky man who always has something up his sleeves...if we go to Termina there's no telling what will happen..."

"We'll just have to be ready for whatever he has planned then," I pointed out as she nodded, thinking.

"That's all we really can do...you said Prince Aryan is there too?" we all nodded," then we need to be careful of him as well and his brother Alex-"

"-Alex is no harm to any of us. He won't interfere," Anti cut the Princess off, speaking in a monotone voice as we all looked to her," he will keep out of our way, trust me..."

"Even if Alex doesn't interfere Aryan surly will," (Y/n) complaint.

"I can fight them," I suggested as everyone looked to me shocked.

"On your own?"

"What other way would there be? I've fought Ganondorf before, I can take them both I bet."

"No," I looked to Ashley who stared back at me, her face serious," fighting one is hard enough. You will surly die if you take them both on."

"Link can fight Ganondorf and if Aryan tries to interfere, I'll take care of him. Its simple," Anti broke in dully, playing with a strand of her hair as she spoke.

"But Anti-" Ashley went to interject but Anti cut her off.

"I can handle anything that idiot throws at me, you know this."

Ashley sighed, shaking her head," yes...and as for the rest of us, we can take care of those Ganondorf hold prisoner..."

"So this is the plan? To just go and fight him?" (Y/n) asked as we all nodded.

"We go fight him and be prepared...that's all we can really do," I looked to her as she stared back at me, hesitating before nodding.

"Then that is what we shall do...We will all go to Termina and take care of Ganondorf," Ashley said as Cody frowned, looking to her.

"You plan to go as well, sister?"

"Of course. Why won't I?"

"Its dangerous for you to go," Anti interrupted as Ashley looked to her, her eyes narrowed a bit.

"And it isn't for all of you?"

"You are to be named Queen soon so our people need you alive. Your father gave clear instruction for you to stay here until you are crowned," she explained as Ashley huffed.

"Well my father never knew another kingdom would need our help. I am going to Termina to help and that's it. I am not weak, you know this," she held her head high and proud as Anti smirked, rolling her eyes.

"Alright, Princess..."

"So you are to be Queen of Rena soon?" I asked as Ashley sighed but nodded none the less.

"My father passed away about a mouth of go but before he did he had planned for me to be named Queen at the end of this mouth so I have decided to wait until then," she answered as (Y/n) and I nodded.

"Then are you sure its okay for you to come-" (Y/n) started as Ashley cut her off.

"-Yes. I shall be fine."

"My job is to watch her and the Prince anyways, its what the King asked of me. I'll make sure they are safe," Anti put in, not seeming to listen much as she just stared at her nails.

"Now we should get ready to leave. You two can stay here for the night and in the morning we will head to Termina," the soon-to-be Queen stood, looking to us both as we nodded.

'Tomorrow it will as be over hopefully...we will go to Termina and take care of Ganondorf with the help of Ashley, Cody and Anti...we can't risk anything going wrong though...'
