No one really spoke at dinner about the 'date(s)'. Misty and Zelda of course asked (Y/n) about it however all they got was "it was fine" as (Y/n) seemed to be more interested in talking to Link. As for Alex, he said the same thing, not saying a word to anyone about seeing (Y/n) and Link together. He only stared at the two at dinner, watching how well they got along together and how much they talked without any lows in the conversion.
Aryan talked to the Queen and King as always, once and awhile looking over to the Princess and seeming a bit angry at the fact she was talking to Link and not Alex, however no one saw this anger. The Queen and King, well, they were overjoyed to hear (Y/n) and Alex had time to get to know each other, feeling as if the whole marriage thing would go smoother for their daughter now as they didn't seem to notice the two not talking to each other now.
The next day was rather nice out so Misty had an idea (as she always does). She ran about the morning, giving out letters to her friends and the Prince's as she helped her mom around the place. The letters asked for them to meet her in the garden around noon for an unknown reason. Even if no one new what the maid had planned, they still chose to meet her but not without being prepared for anything crazy thing she probably planned for them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"(Y/n)~" The Princess looked up from the letter in her hands, only to be bear hugged by her maid friend," thank you for coming~Today will be fun~"
"I-I'm sure it will be but, what are we doing?" the Princess pulled away from the maid, pointing to the letter she held as Misty giggled.
"You'll see when the others get here. I have a fun afternoon planned for us all. Prince Aryan and Alex, Link, Zelda, and us. How wonderful it is to be!" she cheered, fist pumping the air as (y/n) giggled at he childish ways.
"Misty! (Y/n)! There you two are," the two turned to see Zelda and Link heading their way, Zelda running up to the two as Link just walked after her calmly.
"This is four out of six. Where are our other two?" Misty pouted, looking around the garden as the two reached her and (y/n).
"We're here," she looked over her shoulder and gasped happily as the two Prince's walked up, a smile on Alex's face as Aryan looked a bit annoyed.
"Six! That makes six! Now come on, follow me everyone!" Misty spun around and ran off threw the garden before anything could be said. Everyone looking to each other with raised eyebrows before following after the maid.
She lead them through the garden, spotting in a clearing and looking to everyone else, jumping up and down as she did," here we are~"
In the clearing of the garden there lied a red and white blanket with many different types of foods and drinks set out on it. The picnic was set up in the most beautiful part of the garden with all shorts of colors around it. From reds, to purples, all the colors of the rainbow filled the area.
"Did you set this all up, Misty?" (Y/n) asked as Misty nodded proudly.
"With my mom's help, yes. I thought we could all have some time to talk and have fun together. Doesn't it sound great?"
"Its a wonderful idea Misty. It does sound fun to talk and hang out together as friends," Zelda agreed with a smile.
"Well lets not just stand around. Lets go eat!" Misty ran over to the blanket with excitement, sitting down on the blanket as everyone followed.
Zelda sat to Misty's left, (Y/n) sat at her right and Link sat next to (y/n). As for the Princes, they sat across from everyone silently, not saying much as they did.
The four laughed and talked, enjoying the wonderful picnic Misty and her mom made. At some point, even Alex began to talk with them however Aryan seemed to watch Link more out of everyone, studying his every move which didn't go unmissed by the boy.
Link would look up only to meet he Prince's burning, hate filled eyes as he would flinch, looking away quickly.
"What's wrong, Link?" (y/n) asked, looking away from Zelda and Misty to the hero as he shook his head, laughing nervously.
"Nothing. I'm fine," he assured her as she nodded, looking back to the others and containing their conversation.
Link looked around for a moment, smiling as he stood up and walked off however no one but Aryan seemed to notice. Once Link stood up and walked off, Aryan tapped Alex's shoulder as he turned to him, raising his eyebrow," what is it?"
"I'll be back, I'm going to...check on something," Aryan told him as Alex looked away from him and to Link who was walking off into the deeper part of the garden.
"Aryan, please don't start anything-" Alex whispered/begged as Aryan was already standing up.
"I only wish to speak to him," Aryan stood, following the hero as Alex sighed, looking to the three girls and listing silently.
Link stopped at a bushes full of (f/c) flowers, picking a few and tying them carefully together yet he got the feeling he wasn't alone. Turning, he gasped to see Aryan standing right there behind him," ah! Prince Aryan. What are you doing here?"
"Nothing. Just wanted to know what you where going," Aryan answered with a friendly smile that Link still didn't trust.
"Picking flowers."
"It doesn't sound like a very 'manly' thing to do for being a hero," Aryan pointed out rudely, his arms crossed behind his back.
"There for (y/n)," Link explained, narrowing his eyes as he tried to focus on the flowers he was tying together in his hands.
"For (y/n) you say?" Aryan smiled sarcastically before his face turned serious,"...she is engaged to my brother I hope you know."
"I do. I'm only giving these to her as a friend," Link explained, wishing for the Prince to just leave him be already.
"So your only her friend?" Aryan asked as Link nodded. Aryan turned Link to face him by grabbing his shoulder, looking him dead in the eyes," no...other feelings for her?"
"Not at all," Link growled, turning back to the flowers as Aryan smirked, standing straight.
"Good. You remember that, boy," Aryan turned, hitting Link's shoulder with his own as he passed.
Link glared at the flowers, listing to Aryan's footsteps as he left. Link finished the flower crown quickly, marching back to the picnic where Aryan had just went.
Once he got there, Link dropped the flower crown on (Y/n)'s head as he passed her, sitting down at her side and glaring at Aryan as he mirrored the glare.
(Y/n) looked up, carefully taking the flower crown off of her head before looking to Link with a smile," thank you, Link. Its very beautiful."
"Your welcome," Link didn't even look to her as he was to busy glaring at Aryan as if saying 'what are you going to do about it?'
(Y/n) frowned but didn't say anything as she set the flower crown back on her head. Misty and Zelda turned her attention away from Link as they began to talk to her about random girly things like dresses and make-up.
Alex was the only person to notice Link and Aryan glaring at one and other as he sat right in the middle of it all. He lowered his head, watching the two.
'Why did Aryan have to go start things like I asked him not to..'
