|| Chapter 29 || A True Wedding

(No one's P.O.V)

People filled the throne room, taking their seats as they talked and laughed. It had been almost three years since Ganondorf had been killed and everything as been great ever since.

At the end of the mouth Ganondorf was killed, Ashley was named Queen of Rena. (Y/n), Zelda, Misty, and Link headed up to the kingdom to celebrate the naming and to see their friends once again. Alex had moved to Rena to stay with Anti and the royal siblings, finding life very peaceful and safe there. Anti and him even started dating much to Cody's joy (since he teased Alex none stop about loving Anti). But they weren't the only ones who found love in the years after Ganondorf's death. 

Misty devolved a crush on Prince Cody as he did her. No, the two didn't know the other felt the same even when their friends said it was very oblivious. But one day they'll get together, right? They can't just send letters to each other every single day and just be friends.

As for (Y/n) and Link, they have been dating ever since as well. Link had stayed in Termina with (Y/n) even when she was named Queen herself a year after Ganondorf's death. The first thing she did as Queen was name Link Captain of the Royal guard which was a huge honor for the hero. 

Yes, the past three years have been well but nothing in those years compares to today for it is a great day for everyone...

Everyone gathered in the throne room, taking their seats as they laughed and talked. The old Queen of Termina sat next to Misty's mother, both having their own conversation while sometimes talking to others who came to great their old Queen.

"Hello," the Queen looked up to see Ashley as she made her way over to them, bowing," its nice to see you once again."

"As it is you. Please, sit," the Queen gestured to the spot next to her as Ashley smiled, sitting down as the three began to talk about the event to come. 

In the front of the room Link stood, messing with his tie nervously. Today was the day everything changed...he's never been so nervous about anything before in his whole life! Not even the time he had to stand in front of nearly all of Termina while being named Captain of the Royal guard!

"You'll be fine, Link. Don't worry about a thing," Link turned his head to Prince Alex who smiled kindly at him. 

"Yeah just don't pass out!" Cody put in as Link and Alex laughed at the older male, nodding.

"A-Alright, I'll try not too..." 

Music stared as Link turned forward as did Cody and Alex. The throne room doors opened as three girls made their way down the aisle. Zelda wore a light pink dress, Misty wore a light blue one, and Anti wore a light green one. All three looked beautiful as they walked up to the front, taking their spots across from Alex and Cody who wore suits themselves.

After they found their spots, everyone stood and faced the doors fully. A young girl skipped down the red carpet, throwing pedals of (f/f)'s as she smiled brightly. Following behind her was the gem of Termina, Queen (Y/n) (l/n).

She walked down the aisle with all eyes on her. She looked as beautiful as ever in her wedding dress. It was one she had picked out herself this time too. Today it really was her wedding. Not a forced wedding but a wedding were she had chosen her own groom, someone she loved with all her heart. 

She stopped at Link's side, smiling at him as he mirrored the smile. The priest made his way up to the pedestal, going through the whole speech like priest did at every wedding. Everyone was happy for this is a wedding they have all waited for. Their Queen wasn't marrying a Prince no one has ever heard of, she was marrying the Captain of the Royal Guard, future King of Termina, Hero of Hyrule...Her Link. 

"Do you, Captain Link, take Queen (Y/n) as your loved wife?" The priest looked to Link who nodded, smiling brightly as he looked to the Queen.

"I do."

"And do you, Queen (Y/n), take Captain Link as your loved husband?"

"I do."

"Then by the power of the goddesses, I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride~"

Link didn't need to be told twice as he wrapped his arms around (Y/n)'s waist, pulling her close and pressing his lips to hers. Everyone jumped up, cheering for the newly weds happily as Cody, Alex, Anti, Zelda, and Misty clapped, all smiling brightly.

Link took (Y/n)'s hand as they both ran down the aisle, heading outside to the carriage that awaited them. They both stepped inside the carriage, everyone following them outside to see them off.

(Y/n) faced forward, closing her eyes before throwing the bouquet of (f/f) in the air behind her as girls jumped up, trying to grab it but all missing. Instead, the bouquet flew back, hitting Alex on the side on the head as he was talking to Anti by the doors of the castle.

On instinct, he grabbed object before it hit the ground, not even realizing what it was. When he did, he looked up with a blush as everyone stared at him. Girls huffed, clearing upset that he caught it and not them.

"LOOKS LIKE ALEX AND ANTI ARE NEXT TO BE WED!" Cody yelled, laughing at the sight of the blushes on Alex's blush as he looked to Anti who was laughing, clearing the (f/f) pedals out of his hair.

Link and (Y/n) laughed themselves before looking to each other with smiles...

...So it seems like Ganondorf was right about one thing. Every time the heroes spirit is reborn, so is the spirit of the demigoddess (Y/n). The two will always fall in love as the magic will always stay safe. As long as the hero and demigoddess's spirits are together, evil will never seal the magic away...
