"Adrianne, sweetie, wake up." I heard my mom say while gently shaking me awake. "We are at the airport."

I sat up, still in the back seat, and straightened myself out. My hair was a mess so I decided just to French braid it real quick. I got out of the car and grabbed my back that was on the floor. I looked around and noticed my mom had all out luggage on a cart ready to be checked.

I gathered all my stuff and the three of us walked into the airport together. We checked our bags and went through airport security fairly quick considering how busy the airport was. Our flight to North Carolina didn't leave for about another hour, so we stopped in a little café and got a little lunch.

About 45 minutes later we headed to our gate and boarded the plane.

"I call window!" Noah yelled while running down the isle looking for section EE.

"Mom! Why does he get window? He got shotgun in the car!" I complained.

"Sweetie, the kid is 4 years younger than you are. Let him live a little." My mom said laughing while patting my back. "Plus... He was there first."

"Fine. But I don't the isle." I said plopping down next to my brother who was staring out the window.

Suddenly I heard a flight attendant speak into the intercom, "Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for choosing Southwest Airlines. The approximate time of flight will be an hour and 30 minutes. The weather in Charlotte is a beautiful 80 degrees. We hope you enjoy your flight."

After she went through all the seat belt and other safety procedures, I again pulled out my earbuds and became listening to my favorite playlist. My mom was reading a magazine while Noah and I were both staring out the window watching the clouds and ground roll past us. After about half and hour, I noticed my mother had fallen asleep and so had my brother. Their heads both lying on my shoulders. I never did fall asleep, I just daydreamed while looking out the window.

The plane had finally landed in Charlotte, North Carolina. It was 3 o'clock in the afternoon and absolutely beautiful in Charlotte.

"Is Jody coming to get us?" Noah asked.

"Yes, she said she was almost here. So we should go outside and wait for her to come up." My mom said checking her phone.

I was so excited to see all the Seagers. I loved being with Jody. She was a great mother and was just fun to spend time with. She was pretty much my second mother. Jeff was also the bomb.com. I was a softball player and always loved working on my swing, and he would be one to help me. And all the boys were great. They were like my second, third, and fourth brothers. We all got along so well and I was just happy to be seeing my second family again.
