*Corey's POV*
There was knocking at the door. I was tied to a desk chair and my head hurt really bad. Suddenly, the events from last night started flooding back to me.
"Corey?" I heard Joc say. "Dude we are gonna be late for practice." I tried to get loose, but I just couldn't. The desk chair was on wheels, so I was able to scoot myself over to the door using my feet.
"Corey?" Joc yelled again banging on the door again. This time however, I was able to kick the door, signaling that I was here so he wouldn't leave.
"Corey would you open the damn door?" Joc said getting irritated. "Or at least fucking say something."
I decided to lift my feet as high as they would go in attempt to open the door handle using them. All I had to do was push down on it and hope that Joc would actually open it. Which I was able to do. As soon as Joc saw the door handle move down the slightest bit, he barged into the room.
"What the hell Corey!?" Joc said peeling back the tape on my mouth.
"JOC THEY TOOK HER! TWO GUYS CAME IN WITH GUNS AND ONE RAPED HER AND THEY DRUGGED US AND TIED ME UP THEN THEY LEFT WITH HER AND LEFT ME HERE AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE SHE IS!" I started to yell really fast.
"Woah woah woah! Corey, you have to calm down. I didn't catch much of that. Who did they take?" Joc asked untying my hands from the chair.
"ADRIANNE!" I yelled again. "Joc we have to go to the police right now!"
We both ran to the elevator and took it down to the lobby. Joc and I jumped into my rental car and rushed to the police started. I ran in and to the front desk where there was a lady sitting.
"My girlfriend, she was kidnapped last night." I said slightly out of breath.
"Sir, I'm going to need you to calm down." She said calmly. "Now, if you'll come with me, I will have Amanda here get all the details from you so we can try to help."
The lady walked Joc and I over to another desk that had two chairs sitting in front so we could sit down. A lady walked out of a room, who I assumed was Amanda, and sat down at the desk.
She went through a series of questions and I answered them to the best of my ability. I described the two men for her and gave them what they said their names were. She was a sketch artist as well, so she was able to sketch some pretty detailed pictures of the guys that I was talking about. When she showed them to me I was actually shocked.
"Yes. That's them, that exactly what they look like." I said nodding my head.
"I was kind of afraid of that." She mumbled. "Carl! Can you come here?"
Another police officer walked over to her desk. She explained what had happened to Adrianne and showed him the pictures that she had sketched.
"The Witker Brothers." Carl said not sounding surprised.
"Who are the Witker Brothers?" I asked more calmly.
"They are two brothers that travel from state to state looking for jobs. They don't have a lot of money and they will do anything for it. Sadly, instead of getting real jobs, they have turned to doing crimes that others don't want to do themselves. They have been committing various felonies for years, but we just can't find them." Carl explained. "And I mean these guys will do anything. They go from robbing stores for someone to murdering for someone."
I sank down in my chair when he mentioned murder. I couldn't even imagine losing Adrianne. I needed her back.
"How do we get her back?" I asked suddenly.
"Look kid. The best thing right now is to just go back to what you were doing and let us try to find her." Carl said sadly.
I was done with this conversation. I got up and left with Joc following behind me. I got back into the car and drove off to the stadium. I needed something to get my mind off this. But it was nearly impossible knowing that I wasn't sure if I was ever going to see her again.
