"Since everyone is gone... Would you maybe... like to go on a date tonight?" Corey asked scratching the back of his head.
"Are you nervous to ask me on a date?" I laughed.
"Well yeah! See you're laughing at me... I shouldn't have asked." He said shaking his head.
"No! Corey, it was cute. And I would love to go on a date with you tonight." I replied giving him a kiss on the cheek. "What did you have in mind?"
"That would be a surprise." He said with a smirk on his face.
"Alright Seager. As long as you tell me what to wear." I said a little scared at what he had planned.
"Casual is great." He said walking away. "But I suggest jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt."
I stood there a little confused as Corey went down into the basement. I decided that I might as well get ready considering that was what Corey was probably doing. I went upstairs to the bathroom and braided my hair back into a French braid. I didn't put any makeup on because Corey said casual, and my casual consisted of zero makeup.
I went into my room and put on a sports bra and a blue long sleeve t-shirt from my high school then threw on a pair of jeggings and a pair of white high top converse and rolled up my jeggings to the top of them. When I was done getting ready I headed downstairs to wait in the kitchen for Corey. Maybe for once I would be ready on time and he wouldn't be! I got a little excited to finally beat Corey at something, but when I walked into the kitchen my excited soon faded.
"You take forever." Corey said smirking.
"I took like five minutes! It's not my fault I have hair that I have to do!" I said giving him a playful punch.
"You look beautiful." Corey said kissing my forehead. He then grabbed my hand and laced our fingers together as we walked out to the garage to get into my car.
Even though it was my car, Corey still drove. It was weird, I don't know. I always grew up with my dad driving the car, no matter who's car we were taking.
"So where are we going?" I asked grabbing his hand.
"You'll see when we get there baby." He said taking a glance at me before looking back at the road.
We drove for about 30 minutes before turning into a parking lot with a couple cars and a huge warehouse.
"Indoor painting balling?" I laughed.
"Yup. And I'm gonna kick your ass at it." He smiled jumping out of the car.
"You know I am a pretty good shot." I mentioned as we walked towards the entrance.
There were some people walking out as we were walking in. We went to the front desk and paid for two people. The lady sitting there showed up the jumpsuits that we were to put on and she loaded our guns for us.
"I'm not gonna give the whole usual speech because the only two people here are you, so I'll just let you go in. The big electric clock on the wall will count down. You get one hour."
Corey and I walked in to the warehouse and saw that it was huge. There were boards and other obstacles set up all around.
"Okay. I say we both run on three, and when the clock says three minutes, we look for each other." I suggested.
"Deal." Corey said shaking my hand.
"1"
"2"
"3"
And with that, both of us took off in opposite direction in a sprint. I looked for a place to hide and get ready until the clock hit 57 minutes.
It went pretty quick and I then started slowly making my way foreword, looking for Corey. He was wearing a white jumpsuit and I had black paint balls. I was wearing a black jumpsuit and Corey had white paint balls.
We looked for each other for a while until I finally saw him sneaking out from a distance and I shot at him and hit him in the shoulder. He immediately shot back and hit me in the leg. We continued our war until I ran off and made Corey come find me. I stayed in place for a little while, waiting for Corey to come to me, but then decided to look for him again as time was almost out. When I went to turn around Corey was standing behind me.
"I win." He said happily.
"No."
"No?" He said laughing.
"I want to win." I said with a frown.
"Too bad!" Corey shouted.
I stuck my lip out and began to pout.
"Awe baby it's okay."
"What do I have to do to win?" I asked.
Corey seemed to be thinking about something and then suddenly seemed to come up with something.
"If you give me a kiss, I'll say you won." He offered.
Without hesitation I walked up to him and crashed my lips onto his. I intended for it to be a quick kiss, but it ended up being a make out session.
We continued our kiss until the lady at the front desk came out.
"Sorry to interrupt, but your time is up." She said trying not to look at us.
Corey and I both let out a little laugh and went back into their changing room and got out of our jumpsuits.
"You hungry?" I heard Corey ask.
"Starving." I answered.
"Then lets go eat." Corey said walking towards me and sweeping me off my feet bridal style and carrying me out to the car.
