I made an entire list of objections once.

I was feeling extra frustrated that day, I suppose. Let me just list a few of them for you:

You are younger than me. One year and twelve days, to be exact. I'm going to be 18 in January, which is only four months away. Wisconsin has Romeo and Juliet laws. You are a junior in high school. Still kind of an age thing, but I'm a freshman in college and we are experiencing very different things and are at very different points in our lives. That could be a breaking point. Lauren is an objection in herself and her existence. I'm not entirely sure that I'm even ready for a relationship right now. I'm kind of scared to get attached, or ever worse, to not. You're so not my type, and I don't even know how that happened. I don't think it would become anything serious. You are way out of my league. We might even be too alike.

So there you have it. That's what I've got. I'm sure you have a few things of your own that you would gladly add, but it's probably a pretty general idea and most other things would fall into these categories. We would be a bad idea. A catastrophe. A huge freaking mess. But maybe that's not a bad thing.
