Unknown Evil

Chapter 4

(Unknown POV)

Well well well. It seems as my luck has it out for me. The twins had finally shown their faces after all these years.

Thank god the chick is hot. No matter. I would have killed her either way. Only now, I'll be a little sadden to see her go so soon.

If she accepts my love, then I'll let her live a little long. It should be easy, but it never is. Of course her soul-mate happens to go to this same school. I was surprised it was that idiotic blue haired guy, Sonic. Nothing was special about him. So why does he get to become one of the strongest kin in the world? I can't let them get to close, or all my plans will be ruined.

It seems that the brother had also found his soul-mate. A large hip-girl, with silver hair and golden eyes. Hm, would have never thought. He is no threat to me... yet. As soon as he is, he'll be the first to got.

Now.. It's just a sit and watch game. See how they act in this new place. Maybe I can just keep a low profile, and they won't notice me. When it counts the most, I'll pop in.

Like when this blood moon mating is around the corner. Now that Shadow knows her soul-mate, she'll have to do something. Her instincts would take control of her, and she'll turn her mate into one of them. Not if anyone interferes with it.. I just have to try and get them not as close.

Now...We just wait. Hahaha..

(Sonic's POV)
I felt like I was being watched as I walked to my car. I'm not really scared by this type of thing, but this time it felt... evil. Amy stalked me all the time, so I was used to it, but this time was different. It had an evil presences, which creeped me out.

"Hey Sonic, you okay?" Tails voice startled me. "Whoa.. Calm down. Why are you just standing by the car?"

"O-Oh. It's nothing. I just zoned out for a second." Tails rolled his eyes at me, as I unlocked the car. My mind was so fogged on everything that's happen. Tails sighing caught my attention, as we pulled out of the school parking lot. "What is it?"

"There's been another mysterious murder case. Another body found, all blood had been drained from the body. The neck had been slashed open. It's the same as the last one. So far it's only been girls." Tails sighed, looking through an article on his phone.

"Geez... I thought that stopped ages ago.. Guess not." I groaned, feeling even more creeped out. This happened a few times before, and I thought the guy got caught. All of a sudden these murders happened, girls were missing and ended up dead. They stopped a few months ago.

"No animal can do this to a human being. And what human can do this?.."

"I don't know Tails... This is just all so weird." I sighed. "I mean, we're a small town. Nothing exciting ever happens here." My chest felt as it was pressing down on me. I could barely breath. "Was one of them Rouge?..." Tails sighed, giving me a sad look.

"No. She's not one of them." He paused. " I really don't know what happened to her. She just disappeared like she never existed."

"Yeah. Seems to be happening to alot of my 'friends'." I grumbled, and Tails fell silent. It felt like forever till we got home.

Once home, we just did what we usually did. Just going on our separate ways. Luckily, I had no homework, but we did have a project to do soon. It was in our science class, and I had Shadow as my partner. I was glad and scared at the same time. I had no idea who she was or anything, but at least this could bring us closer. Something about her was... weird. I felt like I was drawn to her. Like I knew her all my life, but I had no idea who she was. I don't understand what's happening to me..

(Mephiles' POV)

I really despise my sister sometimes, she knows she holds all this power. Yet she just sits around, hating everything around her. Although she fits in, she rather not.

"Quit staring at me." Shadow's voice was annoyed, she was filing her nails. "What do you want?" I only sighed, walking away from her.

"I don't understand you sometimes." She made a 'tsk' sound.

"There you go again." Shadow groaned, a pissed look across her face.

"You're the most powerful vampire in this world. Yet you don't care for your power." This is the same argument we had for centuries.

"I don't care about our roles. We have lived for over thousands years and for what?! I didn't ask for this!" She was royally pissed off now. She stood up, baring her fangs, holding her fist like claws. " Why do you always have to bring this up! I never asked for you to care for me!" The last hope of humanity vanished from her eyes, her instincts taking over.

It must of been at least thirty minutes before she calmed down. Both of were bloody and beaten, letting our rage on each other. Panting heavily, Shadow limp away, her wounds already healing. 

Rouge just watched us as we fought, knowing we needed this. It's been quite awhile we've talk to each other. For awhile we went our separate ways, years... We only just met up again a few months ago. Not being together was dangerous, since someone is after our royal throne. Even if Shadow was the strongest, she can still get caught off guard. She refuses the fact that someone is after her. I sense the evil is near, but he masked his trail. I know there is another vampire at this school, but no one knows of him. Not even Rouge. She was our recon last year, letting her life on the line to protect us. Who was this unknown evil?...

(Sonic's POV)

Silver was non stop texting me about the twins. Talking about how hot the guy was. Saying how mysterious they were. Even Tails question them. Of course I didn't tell either of they about my attraction towards Shadow. Silver said she had the same thing about Mephiles. Saying she had this unknown sense of knowing him. Like she known him all her life, just how I felt. I didn't tell her that, but we did have the same type of feeling. I had no idea why we did have this feeling. Just what was happening?

With the strange feeling of someone who was stalking me, and these two hot twins appearing? And now the murders were happening again. What was happening to this town?
