Fumble

Open House

                Travis P.O.V

     I was fixing my tie as I waited for everyone to come. I was making sure all the refreshments were set when I heard clicking of heels.  I turned to see Adrianna, hair straight, red form fitting dress.  I smiled and walked over to her. 
     " Wow,  that's all I have to say" I said, she laughed.
       " How did the picture turn out" she asked. 
       " Why would I tell her,  when I can show you" I answered. I took her hand and lead her to the far back.  She gasped.
       " I wanted it to cover the whole wall" I said " So,  you could feel the moment". She walked closer to the picture. She took it in like it was her first time seeing it. 
      " Did you edit the picture " Adrianna asked. 
      " Yeah," I answered " I really wanted it to stand out"
      " Everytime I see these " she started " it's like reliving all the moments all over again"
      " You want to see my favorite " I asked, she nodded.  We walked over to the other side of the building.  It was the picture of Adrianna sleeping,  that one weekend we spent together.
     " Why is this one your favorite" she asked.
      " Because that's when I realized you were the one" I answered.  She chuckled.
    " That was corny " she said. We both laughed. I took a hold of her hand and know kissed her cheek, she blushed.  People started to come in, more than I expected. Everyone so intrigued by the photos.  People came up to me constantly the whole night saying,  "how incredible " or " how real feeling". Finally my professor came.  I went over and greeted him.
     "  I see you have a full house Mr. Wright" Mr. Leviathan said. 
      " Yes sir I do,  would you like a tour" I asked.  He nodded and we began walking. I described all the photos in great detail,  with all different meanings.  We finally made it to the full wall picture.  He examined it as I explained. He stood next to me and smiled. 
     " Good job Mr. Wright,  most students just take random photos with no reason why,  but you,  you take real passion in it,  A+" Mr. Leviathan said.  He patted my back and went to take another tour.  I practically ran over to to Adrianna.
     " So,  what happened " she asked.
   " He said I'm very passionate about it,  I got a A+" I exclaimed.  She squealed and kissed me.
    " I'm so proud of you" she said.  That warmed my heart. 
    " I wouldn't have don't it without you" I confessed.  She smiled and kissed me again.  I went back to the wall picture.  Damn, I really did it. 
    " I must say,  this is fantastic" A familiar  voice said.  I turned around to see my dad.  
       " Thanks" I replied.  We stood in silence. 
      " I'm sorry" he mumbled. " for abandoning you,  dinner all of it,  especially about Adrianna". I didn't respond,  I just kept looking at the picture. 
     " You really love her,  don't you " my dad asked. 
      " Yeah," I answered " Why"
       " You can feel the chemistry in the picture " he replied.  I was hesitant,  but I turned and faced my dad.
      " I forgive you " I blurted.
     " Why" He joked.  We both laughed. 
     " Because sometimes you got to get yourself together before you are able to take care of others" I answered.  He smirked and put a hand out.
     " Cool" he asked. I pushed his hand away and gave him a hug.
     " More than cool" I answered.  He hugged me back.

Travis and his dad made up,  how nice.  I'm sorry to say, but there is only one more chapter after this 😞😞😞. So I really need your ideas and what you would love to see in the next book.  Vote,  comment and share!
