Fumble

5 Months Later

   Adrianna sat on the marble counter,  looking out the window that showed a ocean view.  She had her lazy girl shorts and a t-shirt.  Her baseball cap blocking that sun out her face. 
    " So are you going to help with the boxes" I asked putting a box in the counter next to her. 
     " We are really in California babe,  not just in it but living here" she exclaimed.  I chuckled.  She jumped off the counter and walked over to the window.  I stood next to her. 
    " I can't believe this  is real" She said " Like our own place,  so much to discover ". I took her hand.  She looked at me. 
    " I must be dreaming " she added.
    " What if I kiss you,  would you think you're dreaming " I asked.
    " That will just make it feel more like a dream" she answered " but I still want a kiss". I pulled her closer to me and kissed her passionately.  I went over to the box as she continued to stare out the window.  I pulled out my camera and snapped a picture of her. 
     " You are never going to stop taking pictures of me, huh " she asked.
     " Nope,  not at all" I answered,  snapping another one.  She rolled her eyes and looked back out the window. I jumped on top of the counter.
     " Adrianna" I said.  She turned around.  I motioned her to come over to me.  She walked over and stood between my legs.  I stroked her cheek.  This is crazy,  having this girl.  I don't deserve her at all.
    " What"  she asked.  I didn't answer , I just kissed her. She kissed me back more passionately.  Then the doorbell rang.  Adrianna ran over to get the door.  Diamond came in with his bags.
    " Wassup bitches " he exclaimed. He gave Adrianna a hug. 
   " Oh, hey boo thang " he said to me.  I laughed.
     " Wassup Diamond" I chuckled giving him a hug. 
    " So where's my room at" he asked. 
     "The one down the hall" I answered " but the furniture won't be coming until tomorrow"
    " What the hell" Diamond said.
   " Awe,  the baby have to sleep on the floor" Adrianna pouted. 
    " Naw, naw " he yelled " We are not bringing that attitude here,  you should of left that in Virgina"
    " But I decided to bring it " she replied  " so deal with it". Diamond rolled his eyes and looked at me. 
    " Travis get your girl" he said walking down the hall.  Adrianna chuckled.
   " You know y'all can't be arguing all the time" I said getting off the counter.
    " Naw,  Diamond always think I have a attitude " she replied.
   " Because you do " I answered.  She clicked her tongue. 
  " Whatever" she said.  We began unpacking and putting things away.  The day soon grew into night.  We laid down some blankets.  We hooked up the TV and order some Chinese food.  We ate and watched "Friday ". Diamond fell asleep in the first five minutes of the movie. Adrianna cuddled next to me and traced her finger on my chest. 
    " Baby" she mumbled
     " Yeah" I whispered.
     " Remember when we first met " She asked.  All I could do is laugh.
    " Yes" I chuckled " you hated me"
   " Because you thought you could pull a game on me" she exclaimed.
   " But I did,  didn't I " I asked " I still got you in the long run. 
    " But you fell in love, that's how I played you" she said
   " You did too" I replied.
   " But you just wanted to hit it and quit it" She corrected.
    " True" I mumbled.  She laughed.
    " But thank God I came to my senses,  right" I said.  I looked down at her.  She did a soft smile.
   " Yeah,  Thank God you did" she replied. I kissed her forehead and pulled her closer.  She soon fell asleep  and I did the same.

            ~ 7 Hours Later ~  

  I woke up and saw Adrianna still sleep.  I looked for Diamond, but couldn't find him.  I slowly sliding from under Adrianna.  I stretched and searched for Diamond. Finally,  I found dead him sitting in his room. He looked so pale like he seen a ghost. 
   " Yo,  what's wrong" I asked. He didn't answer.  I sat in front of him.  I put my hand on his knee.  He looked up at me.
     " Wassup" I said.  
     " I fucked up Travis" He mumbled.  " That's all you need to know"
    " Come on you can tell me" I replied  " you can trust me". He took a deep breath.
   " I just got done talking to Jade" He mumbled " Remember when I wanted to sleep with Adrianna because I have never been with a girl before" he asked.  I felt my body twitch a little.  I nodded. 
    " I lied" he continued " 2 weeks before you came....Jade and I went to a party and we slept together "
    " Oh" I mumbled " Wait....wasn't Jade 8 weekend pregnant when she finally told us". He slowly nodded. 
    " And I was in school for 6 weeks before she said anything ". He nodded again. 
  " Jade thinks the baby is mine" he replied
