Much to my dismay, Rylan made his way over to me and took the seat the Eric was once sitting in. I couldn't help but stare into his golden eyes but apparently he couldn't help but stare into mine either. "What do you see?" He asked breaking the silence.
"Come again?" I asked not understanding what he was saying.
"What do you see... when you look at me?" He asked slowing his words down a bit.
"A guy with golden eyes?" I said in more of a questioning tone. It was true though, his eyes were a pretty light brown color that looked golden when hit with the right lighting. My eyes on the other hand looked like chocolate brownies, which I couldn't be too mad at. Most people like brownies, especially fudge brownies. Mmm.
"Who do you see me with?" He asked continuing his weird question and answer that I didn't even have the chance to decline being apart of.
"A pretty girl who's very deserving of you."
"If you were single, would you think of me fondly?" He asked making me a bit nervous. I mean he was cute, but I'm with Eric and Eric really doesn't like him for some reason.
"I mean I guess. If circumstances were different, maybe."
"That's good to know." He said before standing up.
"Wait!" I said before he could walk away. He stopped in his footsteps immediately and then turned back to look at me. "What was this about?"
"I just want to get to know you better, that's all." I nodded my head and he smiled at me before slowly walking away. "See you latter, Lea."
"Yeah. Same?" I said while furrowing my brow. That was really weird.
"Hey." Eric said as he finally made his way back to the table. "Can we leave? I'm a bit uncomfortable." He said honestly. I nod my head, understanding his need to get away and together we make our way back to our room.
"You were amazing." I said once we were completely alone.
"Thank you." He said while bitting his lip nervously . "I just really can't stand all those fake people."
"Some of them are genuine." I said honestly believing it.
"If they were genuine, today wouldn't have been the first day they talked to me."
"I guess you have a point there." I said while sitting down on the bed.
"It's just so stressful." He said kicking off of his shoes. "This school." He paused and shook his head as if he just couldn't believe something that wasn't even said. "I hate this school." He took off his shirt and threw it in a pile a long with his socks causing me to inhale. Jesus his abs are made to perfection.
"I'd contemplate leaving if it weren't for you." Eric said as he made his way towards me with his shirtless body and low hanging jeans. I can see his V line. Mmm it's so perfect.
"I don't want to hold you back." I said snapping myself out of my unholy thoughts.
Eric laughed as if I said something funny and then sat down before pulling me on top of him. "Are you kidding? You're doing the furthest thing from holding me back."
I didn't respond to that. I was too zoned out to. My hands wanted to touched so badly but I couldn't. I promised I wouldn't. "Go change into your pajama's so I can hold you to sleep." Without a word being said I obeyed his command.
The next day I kind you not was honestly the most intense day of my life. I set an alarm for 5:30 on my phone and once it went off I wanted to kill myself. No human being should have to experience the dread of waking up at 5 in the morning. It's terrible.
