Brads POV:

I finally arrived in Edinburgh, I jumped off the train with my rucksack over my shoulder and the address to where Taylor was gripped in my hand. I stood outside the train station and looked about, hoping no one would recognise me behind my sunglasses, wooly hat, scarf and jacket. I called for a taxi and told him the name of the road Taylor's Dorm room was on. It's been 6 months since the wedding, after I got Taylor's address from Jamie I went home to pack a bag but Jess was there and let's just say she wasn't happy, but after what seemed like forever I finally convinced her not to go to the police and accept the fact I'm in love with Taylor.

"Here you are sir" the driver announces my arrival after paying for the taxi and gathering my bag I stand outside serval, trendy looking apartments.

"Fuck" I mumbled to myself as I realise I'll have to knock at each dorm to find her.

"Are you a lost student?" I turn around to see a preppy girl with ginger, curly hair and a clipboard.

"Erm.. no I'm looking for someone"

"Are you a relative?" She asks with a stern yet welcome smile.

"Erm.. I" I stutter under pressure.

"Because I can't let you in the building unless you are a legitimate family member"

"Yep! I'm looking for my sister Taylor Smith, I'm her brother of course" I chuckle nervously. She stares at me curiously before flicking through her clipboard.

"Taylor Smith: Apartment 3, Floor 2, Room 5" she smiled and spun on her heels walking away.

"Thanks!" I shouted out and made my way to the 3rd apartment where a group of boys where standing outside smoking.

"So what's the plan tonight then lads?" A blonde boy spoke up.

"Don't know.. maybe Taylor's out she's always a laugh" a boy with similar hair to mine except his is more tamed said.

"Mate! Are you in love with her or something you don't stop banging on about her!" The blonde one speaks again.

"More like don't stop banging her!" They all cheered and playfully punched him. In a fit of rage of missing Taylor I quickly grab the curly haired boy by the throats and pin him up against the wall.

"Oi mate! What you doing!" He starts to panic.

"Where's Taylor?" I ask.

"I don't know!"

"Well apparently you've been banging her!" I said sarcastically to the little boy that thinks he's a man.

"I'm not! I lied! I lied man! Please let me go!" He panics, i chuckle lightly and drop him making his limp, lifeless body collapse onto the floor.

"Pathetic" I said under my breath as I walked into the building.

I took the stairs up to the second floor and walked down the hallway till I reached the very last door and saw the number 5 above it. I took a deep breath in and raised my hand ready to knock when suddenly the door swung open revealing a shocked looking girl with short brown hair and a septum piercing.

"Ahh!" She jumps back. "You scared me!" She giggles.

"Hi sorry.. I think I've got the wrong room" I start walking away.

"Hold up who you looking for?" She steps out the dorm into the hallway.

"Taylor"

"She stays here a lot"

"Is she here?"I rush back to the door.

"Yeah she's just in the shower.. would you like to come in?" I nod and follow her into the apartment.

"So are you like her brother or something?" She said walking around the apartment putting her earrings in.

"Erm no it's complicated"

"It always is" she laughs. "I've known Taylor 6 months and every time we talk about boys, try to speak to boys... it's complicated" she said.

"So she's not been with any guys since being here?"

"Not that I know of, I mean guys try, they all love her round here but she doesn't give any of them the time of day"

I smile and feel thankful that Taylor hasn't forgot about me or started seeing anyone else.

"Anyway I've gotta go to one of my lectures.. it's was nice meeting you"

"Brad" I smiled.

"Brad" she smiled back and leaves me alone in the apartment waiting for Taylor to pop out of no where. I start to wonder around the house and see a bedroom door open I peep inside and see some of Taylor's clothes laying on the bed. I walk further into the bedroom and see it's not decorated , she must not live here, I see a picture of me and her on her birthday laying on her pillow, I pick it up while sitting down on her bed, the image makes my heart ache to see how happy we once was.

"Brad" and there it was the voice I had almost forgot the sound of, Taylor. I stood up to see her standing there with a white towel wrapped around her body and her hair wet and curly down her shoulders.

"Taylor" I breathed out a smile, so happy to finally see her but she looks scared and confused. But out of absolute excitement of finally seeing her, finally having her I ran up to her and cupped her cheeks. "Taylor! Taylor dear god, finally Taylor!" I rested my forehead on hers, I opened my eyes to see her still standing confused and shocked, I backed away from her slowly. "Are you not happy to see me?" I asked.

"B-but Jess? T-the wedding?" She stuttered out .

"She wasn't the one I was suppose to be marrying" I said linking my hand in hers, she stared down at our hands and then back up to me.

"B-b-but the police?! You have to leave Jess will go crazy!" She panicked.

"No no baby, I've sorted everything out.." I notice something different about her, she's not as confident as she use to be, she's more nervous, on edge. "What's wrong?" I said touching her arm gently.

"You were gone for so long... I-I thought.." she stopped what she was saying as she started to get breathless, she took one deep breath in and walked over to her bag, pulling out a tube of tablets and shakily taking one with a glass of water on the side.

"What's happened to you Taylor? Your not the same"

"Oh really?" She said without turning around, her voice hoarse. "Maybe that's because I had the impression that you'd actually choose me.."

"I did!" I cut her off.

"Yes but you left me waiting Brad, I was sat in that apartment on my own for 6 months waiting, for you to knock, call, text anything! Left me thinking you didn't want me anymore, thinking you didn't love me anymore, I thought there must be something wrong with me for Brad to not feel the same way as I do about him! Y-you broke me" she croaked out, using every bit of her energy to express her anger only to flop back down on the bed, tired and exhausted.

She wasn't the same person I fell in love with.
