Chapter 1 ~ The first day

Arianna's POV
I got woken up by Melissa. Ah yes, my first day of normalisation...not.

Mel:"Wake up, you stupid girl. It's time for school." She then exits the room.

She decides to wake me up at 6am!? Good riddance.

I get out of my bed, do my morning routine and wore the outfit for the day. Obviously, I can't forget my glasses and put my hair up in a messy bun.

I grab my backpack and phone, run downstairs to see Melissa making breakfast. I sat on the dining table and she passes me the breakfast. I began to dug into the the food.

Mel:"Have you got any make up, you can use?"
Ari:"Does it look like I wear makeup?"
Mel:"Clearly not, since you're not as glamorous as me. Anyway, you need to hide your bruise and scar." She sat opposite me.
Ari:"I don't have to, I could just make an excuse." I get up from the table, putting my plate away.
Mel:"You better, otherwise your mother could do with some company up there...in hell." She glared evilly at me.
Ari:"More likely were you would be." I murmured.

I arrive to the gates, I hope this day can go smoothly. I know my mum would want me to, have a great time at school and get a good education.

I took a deep breath and walk inside, past the crowds of people. I did feel quite nervous, since people were staring at me.

I go to their reception to get my timetable and see what I have. P1:Science, P2:maths, P3:Art, P4:drama, P5:English

This day will be a loooong one. I was so lost in the school, I asked for help from these three boys and one of them had a hoodie. I'm guessing that's the leader then.

Ari:"Hey, do you know where C4 is?"
G:"Ahh so the rumours are true, we have ourselves a geek boys."
K:"Yeah, who clearly has no style in her hair."
S:"Oh shut up Ken, you have some kind of hair fetish."
K:"Well at least I get more girls then you."

I felt like a fight was rising, however couldn't help but stare at the boy in the hood. He seemed so interesting, I want know more about him.

G:"GUYS, stop being fucking idiots and where did you get these?" He pointed at my bruise and scar.

I quickly made an excuse.

Ari:"I-I walked into a wall and a cat scratched me." I hid my nervousness with a simper.
K:"Well, that's a real shame." He said with no care in the world.
Ari:"So–"
G:"Did you really think that we were going to tell you the room?..Too bad." He walks closer to me and I go back against the lockers.

The others surrounded me.
Is this how my first day is gonna start? Someone or something help me right now.

G:"Let's get this over with, Ken, Sean." He snapped his fingers, which made them both take my back pack.

I tried to get it back but the boy in the hoodie, held me back. The boys, rummaged through my things and taking stuff out of my bag.

S:"Hmm..books, some drawing pads."
K:"An apple, a sandwich and some chocolate bars."
G:"Grab the food, anything else?"
S:"Nothing valuable, just some some teddy and some ballerina box."
