Chapter 3 ~ Sleepover part 2

Ari:"Kaycee, you finally made it!"

She came in looking a bit nervous but, hiding it with her smile. I wonder what made her get here so late?

B:"You've never been late to our sleepovers?"
Kay:"Oh it's because, my parents were deciding if I should come here or not so I walked."
T:"Aww, at least you managed to get here, we'll give you props for that."

I close the door and sat back with the others. As we continue the film, Kaycee is either laughing at her lit up phone or smiling at it. Bailey and Tati notice that too.

B:"Who's the special someone?"
Her eyebrows go up and down.
Kay:"Er, someone we know." She continues to watch her phone.

Tati nods in disappointment, Kaycee notices her nod and finally reveals her nervousness.

T:"It's one of the guys, isn't it?" She says in a displeased tone.

That's probably why she was late, she's going out with one of them.

Kay:"What, no! It's someone else." She gulps nervously.
T:"The jig is up, which one is it?" Kaycee sighs.
Kay:"It's....Sean." She looked down at her lap.

Tati, Bailey and I had mixture of emotions, Kaycee seemed to be looking at us and waiting on our response.

T:"I'm happy that you've got a boyfriend, but Sean?! In my image, I wouldn't think that he would be boyfriend material." She calmly says.
B:"He's only gonna break your heart with the girls he goes out with. Remember boogie?" She raised her voice a little bit.
Kay:"Yes, she was your sweet sister, but she got manipulated by him and now she's dead because, he introduced her to drugs. However, he's changed now and he makes me feel good inside." Her voice raises a bit more than Bailey.
B:"He hasn't changed a bit! He's still a fucking horrible person, who has no heart just like the rest of them." That's when she blew up with rage.

Kaycee stood up, grabbed her bag and headed to the door.

Kay:"I thought you guys would be my friends and support my relationship." She says before she slammed the door.

Kaycee's POV
I slammed the door and shed a few tears. Then out of nowhere, I felt arms wrapping around my waists and a kiss on the cheek. That's what I really needed from Sean.

S:"I heard what they said, it will take time for it to sink in."
He whispers in my ear.
Kay:"Ughh I just had enough of them, can I hang out at your place?"
S:"Baby, you're always welcomed."

We walked all the way, hand in hand, to his house. I hope we can sort out things on Monday.

Arianna's POV
We're all getting ready for bed, we decided to sleep downstairs on the air mattresses.

Ari:"Bailey, I think you should talk it out with Kaycee." We get into the blankets.
B:"I know we should, however that doesn't mean I've changed my opinion."
T:"Okay tough gal, we should go to sleep so Goodnight."
B&Ari:"Night."

*2AM*

I woke up to see Tati sleeping like a baby and Bailey's bed to be empty. Where is Bails?
That's when *SMASH* a plate drops. I get out of the bed, to check out what's happening.

Bailey's POV
I couldn't sleep because I had...Kenneth on my mind the whole time. I needed to get him out of my brain, he's one of them. I got up and went to the kitchen to get some water.

I was going to go back, until my arm got spun back by the sink. I couldn't tell who it was since, I was a little unsteady.

Afterwards, I saw those brown eyes like the shades of acorns, just bright enough to shine in the shadows. This made tingles travel down my spine.

K:"Hey, sweet cheeks." He winks, I felt my cheeks going red.
B:"What are you doing here?"
I acted cold and pushed him away from me.
K:"I wanted to talk to you, we heard what you said and I'm not one of them."
B:"I don't know Ken, you seem like a genuine guy but with them you're just another person." I scratch my hair.
K:"To be honest Bai, I've been a jerk lately with what I did to Arianna. I did feel bad for her and I want to be with you." He moves closer.
B:"You're gonna have to prove it." I cross my arms.
K:"How about we go and have a walk in the park and then a picnic on the field?"
B:"That sounds...really relaxing."
K:"At 2 o'clockish, I'll pick you up." He puts his elbow on the counter but, pushes a plate to the floor. Shit.

Ken kisses my cheek and swiftly left out the window. That's when Arianna comes in and switched on the lights. I try to sweep up the cracked mess rapidly, which resulted me having a cut on my finger.

B:"Oh damn." I get the first aid kit and get the plasters.
Ari:"What happened?"
B:"I was going to put away the plate, but it slipped out of my hands."
Ari:"Oh, are you alright?"
B:"Positive."
Ari:"let's go back to bed, then." She holds the door for me and we go back to sleep.
