Chapter 27 ~ Best friend = New bae?

We took a break from practising, as we're now gonna go grab something to eat. I'm glad Matt understood why Tati can't do the dance routine as he saw the news. However, he was excited that I was her replacement, surprised but excited.

G:"KFC or McDonald's?" He says, as we approach the two food shops next to each other.
Ari:"Hard choice, what do you think?"
G:"KFC."
Ari:"KFC it is then."

We grabbed our seats after ordering our food and it happened to be the same ones we sat when we were cordial with each other.

Who knew that we would be a couple the next time we came back.

I snap back to reality, noticing Gabe's toffee brown eyes were staring at me, with a smile that kills me. I shyly grinned, covering my face.

G:"This makes me reminisce the last time we came here, seeing your beautiful face in front of me." He gets a hold of my hand. I immediately blushed, covering my face with my hand.
Ari:"Stahp, please."
G:"I will not stahp, cause you are beautiful, adorable, irresistible...The list goes on and on."
Ari:"Smooth move, they were from the spellings we had to learn." I giggled a bit.
G:"Alright you caught me, but still you are what I said."
Ari:"Jheeze such a heartthrob." I remove my hand from my face, playfully rolling my eyes.
G:"I mean girls do want me, but you've got me completely. 100 percent."

The girl waiter comes over with our food and drinks, placing them on the table. I could see her packing inside serviettes, one of them had ink on.

Her pen dropped on her right,  she positioned her body in a way that when she goes down for it her flat booty shows in front of him. I grew a little furious, he still looked at me with a smirk I couldn't stay mad at his face.

She comes back up, looking back but, his goofy eye contact with me was still strong. She rolls her eyes at me and leaves. Bitch bye.

G:"Is somebody, what's the word?...Jealous?" He chuckles at me.
Ari:"I'm maybe a teensy weensy bit. Not so much." I tried to laugh it off but still felt jealous.
G:"I'm pretty sure it wasn't a teensy weensy bit; there's no need to be jealous.
Who am I with right now eating chicken?"
Ari:"Me?" I grab a piece of chicken.
G:"You. Who changed me from most of my bad habits?"
Ari:"Me again?" I grew a small smile.
G:"Definitely you, so there is nothing to worry about, baby girl." He winks while he eats his piece of chicken.
Ari:"Plus she had a flat ass, yeah you're right, boo."
I held his hand.

After a while, we returned to the studio with happy vibes, until we noticed Matt wasn't here. We thought we'd wait 10 mins before we left.

10 minutes have passed and we picked up our stuff, exiting the building. And a girl, smiling, came up to Gabe and hugged him wrapping her legs around his waist.

?:"It's good to see you, de Guzman." She mumbles. I caught a glimpse of him having a surprised facial expression, then hugged back with a huge grin.                                                                         
G:"Where have you been, mejor amigo?"                              
?:"I've been doing a singing tour in Europe, I've missed you.
G:"I've missed you too, bruh."   

I crossed my arms with attitude and cleared my throat intentionally, ruining their moment.                                                                                    
Ari:"Care to introduce me to your friend?" I felt a little bit jealous, I'll admittedly say.She had a beautiful face, with her lustrous ombre hair with the pearly white smile to finish the flawless look.            
G:" Yeah, this is my best friend since day one. She's called Leanne." He came out the hug, scratching the back of his neck. He lowkey seemed suspicious, what is he hiding?     
L:"You must be Ariel, nice to meet you finally." She cheerfully spoke and pulled me into a hug as if we're buddies. Gabe gave me the 'do it for me' face, I rolled my eyes hard and hugged her back.  
Ari:"It's Arianna by the way, but it's nice to meet you too even though he hasn't talked about you to me." We pull away from each other, and I look back at him tilting my head. He passes me a nervous smile.            
L:"Sorry Arianna, anyway why haven't you told her about me? She must know that love thing we had between us for those 5 months was just nothing." She says with a bit of spite.  I look back to Gabe to see if what she just said was not true, he rolls his eyes at her and sighs deeply. 

I guess it is then.

G:"Wow, Leanne seriously?!"        Ari:"There's always a surprise with you, Gabe."I sadly smile, then started to walk my way back home alone. I wasn't gonna waste my energy on her, she's not worth my emotions. I was hoping for him to catch up and explain himself but...I guess he still likes being with other girls.                    
Before I began to unlock the door to this house, I got grabbed from the waist and had my mouth covered.  I tried to elbow whoever it but it did nothing then he whispered, "Strawbari, whatever she said was bullshit. I love you." I calmed right down, then he removes his hand and smashes a long kiss on my lips. I let him have his moment, he always gets to me. We came out the kiss, and he explains himself.

G:"She said that because I dared her to say so. its a thing we have where I dare her and she dares me when we get the time to see each other." He says, smirking.

Ari:"So all that nervousness you had was just so I thought something was going on between you two?"

G:"Pretty much."

Ari:"Please don't do that again, I'm kinda tired of seeing your psycho best friends and ex's." I sighed deeply, fiddling with my hair. 

G:"No promises, baby." He chuckled a bit, while I crossed my hands. However, he uncrosses them and placed them back around his neck. This dude is something else... 

G:"Let's go to my place, you'll get better treatment there. Mi casa es su casa..." He states, with his fake Spanish accent. I nodded in agreement, with a laugh and we both gave a peck on the lips before going back to his place.

Hey, guys so I'm not sure to carry on with this book because i don't really feel motivated doing this book as much as the process for book 2 for Kenneth San Jose (One wild life) I'm that I'm writing which is coming out soon. But I'll see what I can do...
