Chapter 14 ~ Getting things out of our chests

"Why did you run off like that?" Gabe questioned.

"The thing is I like you Gabe, you seem to have something different that I love and I've developed feelings for you. I ran off because, I thought you didn't feel the same way."

What I said was half true, there were other reasons I wouldn't dare to say. I'm already in trouble.

"Honestly, you were that one girl, who listened to me and let me have that chance to change my ways. I may still struggle trying to be nicer, but you've helped me and kept my secret safe. I've developed feelings for you as well and I like you too." We interlocked our hands together.

"I think we should still continue school as normal, where we stay apart for a loooong while." I sad smile.

"I agree, with the Bailey and Kaycee situation today.... Since I'm here, I could stay for a bit?"

I pretend to think about and then gave him an answer.

"Suree, just don't mind my cousin and please take off the hood from your head. I can hardly see your face these days." I sweetly say.

He did a big sigh, before removing his hood. I ended up looking at his handsome face that made my day. Oh how I wish, jordyn didn't exist.

G:"Happy now?" He tilts his head.
Ari:"Very."

I lead him outside, to my balcony and I sat on the chair while he leaned on the railing.

G:"Going to the art exhibition, this weekend? Than going to Six flags with Jordyn and the others."
Ari:"Yeah, I'd rather do that hotline bling dance in front of a lot of people than go six flags."
G:"Actually, I want to show you where I got that dance from. This weekend, instead of going to the boring exhibition. Please?"

I could sense a smirk on his face saying, there's some kind of catch. I'm pretty sure.

Ari:"Okay, I suppose I could go to the place.
G:"Alright, it's a date." He rubs his hands together, evilly.
Ari:"What's with the dark vibes, I'm getting from you?"
G:"When the day comes, you'll see." He turns around and gives a cheeky wink. A smile grew on my face, making my tummy have good tingles in return of his action.

A few hours have past, having our laughs and getting to know more of each other.

A vibrate came from his phone, he took it out and read a message. His happy mood changed and he put his hood back on abruptly.

G:"I've...got to go, I'll see you tomorrow." He kisses me on the cheek and left.

There's definitely something going on and I will track down what it is. Just not right now.

Next day

I come into school, feeling mixed up inside. One side I'm happy of Gabe and I going out, the other side wants to die in a hole than see what Jordyn has up her sleeve.

First period, art. Where she couldn't destroy my ass. Kenneth looked on the down side as he painted his drawing of the beach.

Ari:"You ok, jose?" I pat his back for reassurance.
K:"Bailey, took off the day. You don't mind coming with me to her house later?"
Ari:"Of course not, we will get those two together in no time."
K:"That's the plan."

I turned my head over my shoulder and caught Gabe glaring on us. He must get any emotion easily, he's quite sensitive then I thought he was.
