Chapter 8 ~ A breath of fresh air

Still Arianna's POV
I spotted Melissa and dad, coming downstairs holding each others hand. It seems like she has manipulated his brain with her evilness.

Mel:"We're off to Hawaii, for 2 weeks so I'll be getting my tan on." She got a couple of suitcases and went out the door.

I gave dad a tight hug, he's the best dad I've ever had and I hope he has a good time despite Melissa's bad personality.

D:"I'll miss you sweetheart, you be good and your cousin is going to look after you. He's coming tomorrow." He kissed my head.
Ari:"I'm gonna miss you too and I can't really behave since its my cousin but I'll try."

We let go, dad takes the last of the suitcases and he exits the house. Now, I'm by myself. I flopped onto the sofa and surfed through my social media.

*ding dong*

No one visits at this time of day, unless my cousin Jake came early. I open my door to see, Kenneth?
I step to one side for him to get in, he seemed quite nervous. I close the door and and sat down next to him.

Ari:"Kenneth, are you alright?"
K:"Not really, I'm kinda anxious."
Ari:"About what?"
K:"About how the others are going to think of Bailey and I."
Ari:"I think it could be a shock to them but, they will support you and Bailey's decision as they're your friends."

His nervous state is easing back into his happy state of mind. He rapidly hugs me, I hug back.

K:"Thanks Arianna, you're awesome."
Ari:"No problem, bro." I punch him lightly.
K:"Anyway, what are you doing at home alone?"
Ari:"Just chilling on my phone, my step mum and dad left to go to Hawaii for 2 weeks so my cousin is coming tomorrow."
K:"Shame, you couldn't have gone there because of school."
Ari:"Hey, at least I don't have to keep a secret about loving someone." That left him speechless, I chuckle at how he was.

I cooked some pizza for us to eat and we went back in time a little and decide to watch High school musical. When it came to singing the songs, I found out his talent. His singing was amazing, me on the other hand, stank at it.

Soon after the movie ended Kenneth was ready go.
We said our goodbyes, hugged and then he left. I close the door and made my way up the stairs. I changed into my pyjamas, brush my teeth and get under my duvets.

•Next day•

I flutter my eyes open, forming a smile on my face at the silence and I get to hear the birds tweet.
After I did my morning routine, I casually go down the stairs with no alert and made a bowl of cereal. I hear the door unlock and revealed Jake my cousin.

Ja:"Hey cuz, how's it been since auntie died?" He brings me into a huge hug.
Ari:"Its been hard, but still surviving."
Ja:"That's my cuz, could you help me with the suitcases?"
Ari:"Sure."

I took one of his suitcases and lead him into the guest room, he was amazed at the big house with all the decoration.

Ari:"I've gotta go to school, so I'll see ya."
Ja:"Kay, have good friday."

We all had to go to an assembly, apparently of was some people acting out a serious matter. We laugh at some of the scenes, then changed into dramatic and it was quite an interesting educational show.

First lesson, Kaycee and I went to geography and sat in our places.

Ari:"How's seaycee these days?"
Kay:"Its good, he's been playing his cards right so, nothing to worry about." She grins.
Ari:"That's great otherwise, there will be some real kick butting."

She chuckles a little and we chatted with Gabe and sean for some of the time.

•lunch•

We're all arguing about whose the most good looking guy in PLL (pretty little liars).

T:"Wren is quite attractive."
Kay:"Nope, it has to be Toby."
B:"Erm excuse me, it has to be Jason dilaurentes."
Ari:"I may have to agree with bailey, he has defined six pack and very handsome."

We heard a fake cough, from Sean.

S:"Who is very handsome with six packs?"
Kay:"You do, babe." She pats his stomach.
S:"Flattering babe, but who are you talking about."
B:"Jason dilaurentes."

Kaycee gave up and let her have her way, although she was hesitant.

Ari:"What brings you guys here?"
K:"Just thought we would say hi and we whats up."
T:"Good, now bye." She waves, staring at them suspiciously.
G:"Why should we leave? We own this school, so you can't tell us what to do." He expressed his irritation.
T:"At least, I'm not afraid of you and honestly, how everyone feels about you guys is how I feel."
K:"What Gabe is trying to say is that, you don't think we can change our ways?"
T:"Just go away!" She shouted.
G:"Alright, but this isn't over Tatiana." He turns around and Kenneth, Sean left with him.

What's up with Tati? She seems to be touchy when it comes to them. She's quite testy these days, I wonder why?

I caught up walking with Gabe and he just ignored me. I guess spending the day with him could be impossible, she really got under his skin.

Ooo Arianna's dad and Melissa left to go to Hawaii and her cousin was the new parent.
She gets a break from her vile step mum
Tati and Gabe verbal fight.
