Chapter 9 ~ Hanging out with Gabe

•Next day•

I was spending my time, watching TV with Jake before I went to go to Gabe's house. After a few hours, I collected all my pens and things we needed for the project. I then received a text message from him.

Gabe

Are you ready? Cause it's wasting my time, to do things

I replied.

Yeah I'm ready and that's homework for ya

What things are more important than homework?
He left it on read and I head out the door waving goodbye to Jake.

I speedily walk up to his door and before I could knock, the door opened to show Gabe. I enter the house and I was in awe at the decorations, basically everything.

G:"Let's start this project now, so you can scurry off to your mates." He looked pretty pissed.

I nod my head in agreement and begin to go up the stairs. When we got to his bedroom, it was very spacious, but quite messy. We lay our A3 piece of paper for our advertisement and what we're gonna say each.

As we colour in our product, I broke the silence since it was getting awkward.

Ari:"Why are you angry at me?"
G:"Because you're friends with her, she's j-just fucking annoying."
Ari:"Doesn't mean I'm like her, I chose to give you guys a chance and prove you all can change." I place my hand on his arm.

A small grin grew on his face.

G:"That is true, you really think we can change?"
Ari:"Absolutely! Now let's prepare our speech."
G:"This product is healthy and has a spectacular taste at the same time. Drake recommended this, so you should totally buy it." He says holding our product.
Ari:"Drake, why?" I giggled a tiny bit.
G:"Because he's a legendary rapper." He copies some dance moves from hotline bling.
This only made me giggle more.

Ari:"Alright mini Drake, let's get back to work. Even though, we have no inspiration to create idea's."
G:"I know were we could get some inspiration, from my dance class."
Ari:"Mini drake can dance? Show me some moves." I was intrigued by his secret talent.
G:"Ok, I'll give you a sneak peek of what I've been working on, put on hotline bling."
Ari:"Ahem, some manners?"
G:"Please."

He gives a little wink, before I put on hotline bling. I hiccupped quite loud, as his wink did effect me in a good way. But I bet he does that for any girl so, there's no point of trying.

He rocked with his routine and at the end he did a windmill then layed on the side of his body. I clapped as he was incredible dancing, he should be like a choreographer.

He took a bow.

G:"Thank you ladies and gentlemen."

That's when the idea popped into my head, he's the answer.

Ari:"Gabe, can you use what you've been working  on this project? Then we would be original with our advert.?"
G:"Er, I don't know. I'm still working on it."
Ari:"What if I try to learn it and we could do it together? Just to warn you I'm really really bad at dancing, so do you agree?" He was thinking over it and made a decision.
G:"I'm cool with that idea, come on." He offers to pull me out with his arm and I took it, getting ready to learn this dance."

One hour has passed, I've managed to get the hang of it and quite frankly I started to like dancing. Art is still my passion though. We decide to take a break and go out to eat at KFC.

At KFC

Gabe came with our food, sat down and we dug in.
This is some gooood chicken and Gabe looks as gooood as the chicken. I snap out of my mind and realise I'm staring into Gabe's eyes and he's staring into mine.
Right now, my heart is melting from how cute he looks with his eyes and his little smile that he makes. Then Gabe stops and goes back to eating and I do the same.

G:"How are you, since your cousin's here?"
Ari:"Amazed, cause I'd never thought that she would leave but she did."
G:"Wouldn't you call the police now? She's well away from you." He sips his drink.
Ari:"E-even if I call the police on her, s-she'll have the money to be bailed out." I start to have fear.
G:"You won't know, if you do it." He holds my hand and I hold his as well.
Ari:"Let me sleep over it, I'll think about it."
G:"I'm only saying this because, I don't want you to suffer with all these cuts and bruises. I care about you." He wipes my tear, I didn't notice I had one.
Ari:"Thanks Gabe, I really appreciate it."

That moment felt unbelievable, like there was no one else in the room but us. I really wish he could be my incredible dancing boyfriend, however this was just a friendly gesture.

We then packed up and walked back to his house, but a blond girl shows up next to Gabe. She did look pretty. Gabe seemed quite ecstatic when she popped up, interrupting our talk.

?:"Who's your nice friend?"
G:"Oh, that's Arianna, my friend and this jordyn one of my best friends."
Ari:"Hey Jordyn, nice to meet you." I offer a hand shake and she took it.
Jo:"You too, Arianna." She smiles.
G:"What are you doing here, Jords?" He puts his arm around her shoulder.
Jo:"I'm here for the sleepover at yours, remember?" I saw some kind of nudge from her.
G:"Oh yeah, oops I may have forgotten. Er Ari, you may have to leave early."
Ari:"It's ok, I'll leave once we get to yours."

We arrived, they go and sat on the sofa while I went to his room and got all my pens and stuff. What is so urgent that he needs for me to leave? But any who its not my place to ask.

I go downstairs and see Gabe on his phone and Jordyn giving me a death stare as I go. I don't get it, I've only met the girl like 10 minutes ago. I gloomily stroll back home.

At home

I close the door behind me and I could smell some good home cooking. I ran upstairs to put away all my stuff and then layed back on the bed. I was thinking of what a good day I had with Gabe despite Jordyn coming over.

Ja:"Knock knock knock!" He comes in and sits beside me.
Ari:"What are you cooking up?"
Ja:"I'm flattered you think I've cooked but it wasn't me. It involved people."
Ari:"Then who are the strangers?"

B,Kay,T:"Hey, we're not just any strangers." They rush in.
Ari:"You're right, they're my weirdos." I ran up to to give them a hug, this cheered me up a lot
Kay:"And Sean who did most of the cooking."
B:"In fact, all of the cooking."
T:"He didn't let us do anything, but wash the dishes." She rolls her eyes.

We all had a laugh and went downstairs to eat and watch The Simpsons. Sean's food was divine and the flavours exploded in mouth.

Arianna and Gabe bond and get close,
Jordyn comes and already hating Ari,
A little surprise, when her friends came over.
Will she see Jordyn again, permanently?
