Chapter 18 ~ Darkness takes over Joy

We're sat down in McDonald's, Sean, Julian and Tati were getting our food.
Gabe sat opposite me, Bailey sat next to me then Kaycee sat next to her.

G:"Hey, you did a good job telling them. I know it must've been hard to say it-"
Ari:"It wasn't hard, I wanted to say it, so we could be our loving selves." I hold his hand.
B:"Aww, best couple ever." She said out loud making us centre of attention.
G:"Aww best couple evar, OMG." He copies her voice in a sassy tone.
Kaycee and I laugh at his attempt, Bailey on the other hand seemed a bit pissed.
B:"I don't fucking sound like that." She furrows her eyebrows.
G:"You do now, B." He sniggers.

Eventually, they came with the food sitting themselves down. We dig into our food, as we make funny faces at each other.

J:"What did Matt want to discuss with you, bro?"
G:"Oh, he wanted me to convince Ari and Jordyn to dance on a competition next weekend."
He strikes his head back at me, with a lil pout. I nod my head vigorously.
B:"Sounds like fun, A."
Ari:"I was getting used to the crowd in his classes but with more people, it'll be quite difficult."
G:"Alright, I respect your decision. Any girl who wants to take her spot? Bailey? Kaycee? Tati?"
B:"I'm gonna hang out with Ken, sorry."
Kay:"I'm with this baby faced boy." She squished seans cheek.
S:"I'm not baby-faced, you're like my cousins. It's annoying."
T:"I'll do it, just because I have no one to hang out with."
G:"There, we're all sorted. Thank you Tati, at least SOMEONE cares."
I scoff, and threw some fries at him.
T:"No probs, send me a message of when and where we're practicing.
G:"Okay."

Kenneth and Jordyn laughing their way upto us and sat down with us. I spot Kenneth wincing throughout the time we've been here. I'm kinda concerned. When I stop staring at his pain, Jordyn eyes me up and down disgusted.

Shit, my minds been preoccupied with what Tati would think when really it's about what Jordyn would do to me.

G:"Jord we have a competition to do next weekend with...
J:"Lemme guess Arianna?" She rolled her eyes irritatingly.
G:"Nope, Tati cause Ari wanted to ditch me so bad." Jordyns face lit up, while Gabe crosses his arms.
Ari:"I can do his classes but, not competitions. The only competition I'll be entering would include painting  and drawing. But I'll cheer you on in the audience."
G:"Alright, just wished you danced with us, with me."
Ari:"Next time, Gab Gab." I ruffled his silky hair.

After, half an hour of chatting and being our weird selves, Kaycee,Sean,Gabe and I went to Gabe's house. To do the geography hw we forgot.

I could smell bacon travelling up my nose which, made me immediately wake up. I seem to have woken up in my house, with Kaycee scrolling through something. On the floor.

I check the time, it's 10 minutes past my alarm. Was I that lazy?
I rose up, then help Kaycee up as she had both of her arms towards me.

Kay:"You smelt the bacon too."
Ari:"Mhm and I can't wait to eat."

I drag her down the stairs, and we meet the boys in the kitchen, with awful kiss the cook hats. Gabe leans back on the counter while Sean's sorting out the food.

Kay:"Smells good guys, I'm sure you both cooked." She runs behind him.
S:"It's not like Gabe stayed where he was the whole time." He gave us our breakfast, I began to eat viciously.
They all were shocked at how I ate.
G:"I did do something, cooked the bacon."
S:"Burnt the bacon, then I had to redo them. Ari, you'll need to buy more bacon or make Gabe buy them."

I shot a look at Gabe, raising one eyebrow.  He nodded.

G:"Not my fault, he let me do this when he should've stopped me."
S:"I did tho, look who told me to trust you."
Gabe revealed his guilty face, then starts giggling.
G:"Bro, you got me. I'm the culprit." He pats his back, then places his arm around my waist.
Ari:"You owe me bacon, Mr de Guz."
G:"How about something better than that?" He wriggles his brows.
Ari:"And what would that be?"
G:"Find out later this week, for now we all need to get ready."

Sean and Gabe left, whereas Kaycee and I get ready. Today I wore what I got from shopping with Tati.

Kaycee borrowed my clothing as she didn't have hers.

We met the guys by the bus station, and entered in.

I go up to the lockers, to get my art folder as it's break time. A bang against the locker next to me, made me startled a little. I carried on doing what I needed to do.

J:"Ignoring me, huh? You thought I wouldn't find out about you and 'Gab Gab'?"
Ari:"No, I forgot you existed in this world and knew you would find out."
I say with a bit of sass, closing my locker.
J:"Fuck you! Break up with him or I will make sure your life will be a living hell."
Ari:"I'm not going to break up with him and hit me with your best shot, it's worth it."
J:"In that case..." She slams me against  the lockers, then jabs some sharp objects inside the side of my stomach. She covers my mouth as I scream with agony, after a min, I felt the sharp objects come out and I began to feel woozy.

Then I woozily went into darkness.
