That night Cal threw a party for everyone in the building. It was the best night of my life, dancing and drunken singing, people just having fun. Everyone seemed like normal people just having fun. Nobody was taking pictures or filming, no press trying to break in or crash the party. It was perfect.
By the end of the night, me and Cal ended up together in a secluded corner in the darkness. We'd danced with the other sweaty bodies and had more than our fair share of alcohol and we we're drunkenly talking. Cal confessed his love to me over and over again. I was reliably told by Vik that I seemed to blush quite a lot when I'm complimented. Which of course caused me to blush in front of him again.
And as the hours passed, we stayed in each others arms, nobody said a word. We stayed in each others embrace and we just spoke about life, not that I remember the conversation. But I do remember that under a of the dark lights and away from the atmosphere of party, he kissed me softly and told me that he loved me.
And then I knew, a celebrity could date an unknown person. Celebs could date for love and not fame.
Then I knew, I was happy.
