'Fall in love'
Chapter 45:
(Dylan's POV)
"Wait!" I shouted calling after him. He turned around looking sheepish as if he knew he had been caught. He was a little odd in a way, but something inside of me told me that was because of something he knew.
"I really shouldn't be talking to you." He commented trying to whisk himself away again but I managed to pull him back with his elbow making him turn to face me. He took a deep breath knowing he was in trouble. I had so many questions as to who he was and how did he know everything? He even knew private things, had Ella told him?
"Why? Who are you?" I asked getting straight to it. For some strange reason, it was as if I recognised him before from somewhere. I know I've never seen him but it's as if I should.
"I can't say." He muttered shoving his hands in his pockets.
"Why?" I questioned not understanding him.
"Because it messes up the balance of time." He explained making no sense whatsoever. The balance of time? What is that suppose to mean?
"What?" I asked confused even more. He looked down working through his thoughts in his head before spitting his words out.
"It doesn't matter, I need to go." He rushed attempting to walk away but I ran in front of him, putting a hand on his chest to stop him which made him look a little more concerned. It was as if I know what he is trying to tell me but at the same time I have no clue either.
"No you need to tell me who you are and what you know." I stated needing an answer.
"Mo ... Ella's having a time out in the woods by the lake near your parents house." He stumbled out, his words sounding a little rushed. She was at her mom's? Why?
"And how do you know?" I asked
"I've been told." he answered bluntly keeping the rest of the reason hidden.
"So who are you?" I asked
"You don't want to know." he lied looking at any direction away from me to avoid my glare. He knew I would be able to tell that he was lying, so I decided to question him again.
"Who are you?" I demanded again a little more sternly wanting to get an answer without wasting any time. He resisted and you could see he wasn't even sure whether or not he wanted to tell me or not. He started to fidget, his body language telling me he knew he had no other choice but to fess up.
"I'm ... I'm your son ... from the future." He stuttered out.
6 hours earlier ...
Ella had gone out for the day to see her mom and left me alone. She had been acting really strange ever since she woke up, it was as if something had upset her or something. Anyway she rushed out of the house in a weird mood. It can be hours since she had been gone and even my mom called to ask where she was because she needed to talk to her about something. It was all really offbeat for her but it must be one of those days where she needs to be a bit off. I don't even know what i'm thinking, I just know I'm hungry and I'm bored. I decided to sort out the house, catch up on the things that needed fixing and stuff. At least that would keep me occupied. I went outside so I could got into the storage room when I saw Kimberly, Ella's mom, get out of the car, with no sign of Ella.
"Hey, you okay? Where's Ella?" I asked turning away from the door as she approached me. I could see she looked annoyed, did she get in an argument with Ella?
"Not really no. She never turned up to my house, is she here?" She stated a little agitated.
"The last I saw of her was when she left here this morning to go to meet you." I spoke
"She didn't turn up. I just thought she cancelled and didn't let me know." She explained, her slightly annoyed expression suddenly turned to worry. She didn't get to her moms? She's not messaged me since she left. I know that she can't die but it's not like her to not call.
"Have you called her?" I asked as we made our way into the house. I needed to get ready to go so I could look for her. Kim followed behind me, sitting herself down on the sofa as I grabbed my phone and keys.
"Yes, dozens of times, I just presumed that she was ignoring me because she knew she was in trouble." She said as I tried to call her but it went straight to voicemail. Great. Where is she?
"She's not answering me either." I commented. She stood up as we left the house, heading to our cars.
"Did she seem a little off this morning by any chance?" She asked stopping outside her car as I made my way to mine.
"Yeah why?" I questioned.
"She used to do this as a teenager. If she had something on her mind, or something big was happening to her, she would seclude herself. Its a way of control." She explained as if this was normal for Ella but she had never done this with me before. Was it because of the engagement? Surely she would have done this disappearing act when she became immortal but she didn't so how would the engagement be any bigger than that?
"Why?" I asked out of curiosity to try and make any links in my head.
"She's usually scared. She did it a lot when me and her father were having issues." She answered looking down as if there was something else to it. I didn't want to push her for information, mostly because I wanted to see if Ella was okay.
"Anyway, i'll let you find her, if you don't know where she is in a couple of hours, I'll come and help you but she might just be having a moment." She said before disappearing into her car. Okay so there was no help in finding her then. I jumped into my car and headed off, looking around on the road as I drove just in case I saw her car or her.

Romance"I want you back," he said as I looked up from the ground. "Don't" I said trying to stop him, I didn't want to talk about us anymore. We were over and this connection wasn't helping us in any way, in fact, it just pulled us closer to each other. "No...
