'A wicked thing to do'

Chapter 49:

(Dylan's POV)

"You've met ... you're son? Our grandchild?" My dad said trying to wrap his head around the idea. I had sat my parents down whilst Ella spoke with Julia about god knows what. I wanted to listen in to see if they were both okay but I thought it would be best to give them some privacy.

"Yeah. It's complicated. He has or will have a power to travel in time I guess." I answered confusing myself with the pretences of how to describe him. Because even though I've met him, he's technically not here.

"But won't he have changed the course in time?" Mom spoke up, holding on tightly of a brown folder on her lap.

"I don't know, I hope not." I answered. Why did they always to see the other points that come with something serious. Instead of asking more questions like 'What is he like?' or 'Does he get along and see us much?', they ask about the bigger picture.

"Well we're going to have to make sure nothing big is effected. You need to make sure that if you see him again, you don't make contact with him." My dad said looking towards my mom for reassurance. I internally rolled my eyes as I responded.

"I'll make sure of it." I looked around hoping Ella would come down the stairs at any minute. The only reason I still have any communication with my family is because she has insisted, and to be fair they have been really kind and warm towards Ellie since the Thomas incident, but  knew my family had a price and I was just waiting until they expected payment.

"What do you think they're talking about?" Mom asked trying to be a gossip as we heard movement from the stairs. I saw Ella make her way done, I could tell that by the guilt on her face she knew about the situation with Julia now. She huffed when she joined us to sit down. I kissed her hair as she lean't her body on me.

"You alright?" I whispered. She nodded trying to not make it a big deal.

"So when are you two going to plan the big day?" Dad asked creating conversation. It was still strange to hear that me and Ella are getting married. It's even weirder to think that we're having a baby.

"We've just got engaged." I said laughing at how eager they were.

"We know it's just exciting " Mom stated making us laugh.

It was hours later and we had just gotten into the house. Ella had explained to me why she was a little quiet, telling me that knowing that we were having a baby plus the fact that we're getting married was a little overwhelming. I was in the kitchen with a glass of water in my hand when Ella came in wearing one of my old plaid red shirt and only my plaid shirt. She lent her head to the side smiling before leaning on the side.

"What are you doing?" I asked smiling at her. I put my glass in the sink and turned to face her.

"Me? I'm just ... wanting a drink." She answered making me smile.

"You've got to stop looking at me like that." I stated as I walked towards her.

"Like what?" She asked, her hips swaying as she walked. Her hands fell onto my chest as she fiddles with my t-shirt material. Pulling me in, I pushed my lips onto hers. I picked up her body by her legs and placed her on top of the kitchen surface, my hands sliding up and down her thighs. I began placing kisses up and down her neck as I enclosed the space between us by wrapping my

"Like you want me." I answered as I hovered my touch on her neck. She leaned her body in making me crave her touch as she did I.

"I will always want you." She commented. Her forehead gently pressed against mine as we took in the moment together. Everything had gone so fast since we've come back that we've not actually had a chance to just stop and take in the moment. Her eyes fluttered as her gaze and attention focused on my eyes. I slightly leaned further in with force pushing our lips together to create a passionate instant. We guided each other taking steps towards the bedroom when the sofa had got in the way. I huffed slightly as I turned her body so I could have a better access to embracing her neck. Sucking and brushing my lips against her soft skin, her neck tilted for more. I heard her moans and groans, her hand slipping through my hair to play with as my hands gripped her waist to pull her body against mine. I wanted to take her here and now but I could tell that the better option for her would be in the bedroom.

She shocked me when she turned around pulling me by the shirt onto the sofa, her back laying flat with mine hovering over hers.  Her hands were still intertwined with my shirt, pulling it over my head as my fingers slid up and down her body in desperation. Craving each others touch I had missed since last night, it was good to be in familiar territory. But every time for us seemed to be different, it was became more needed and heated, as if we were uncontrollable of not being together. It was essential for us both. I hadn't realised that my hands had managed to open up the buttons on the shirt she was wearing of mine and my jeans were unbuckled and waiting to be stripped off. I sat up making Ella breath for a moment sorting myself out. But as I was about to lean back in, I ended up not gaining my balance right, accidentally pulling both of down with a roll onto the floor. She laughed promptly when she fell on top of me, my back hitting the cold surface of the floor. I joined her in amusement as we carried on.
