Puppy Love (Jaylos)

Chapter 4

Sitting in the same room with your crush is already bad, because you can't look bad or even make a fool out of yourself. But what about living with crush? Thats pure torture, and Jay hated it. The only good thing was that he was able to see Carlos everyday, which made his life complete. 'Cause he didn't have to worry if he was going to school or not, or if he's mad or upset with him.

IT was something that Jay always wanted, but he couldn't force himself to say that he liked Carlos. Telling your crush that you like them is hard, because you're afraid that they don't like you back or if you going to make a fool out of yourself.

Yet living with his crush wasn't making him nervous at all, he just saw changes happening to his crsh. How he would whine if Jay would leave, or not even pay a little more attention to him. He would chase after the ball, and stick it in his mouth, same goes for anything you throw towards him. Carlos would sniff places and relief himself, as gross it may sounds and way worst to Jay since he has to live with it. And the worst part of it all was Jay had to see his crush turn into something he despises the most.

A dog.

Jay shook his head, he didn't want to think about that. He just wanted to think that Carlos was still fully human, and he just acted like a dog for Dog's sake. But Carlos would also make him change his mind. Jay groaned as he pulled at his hair and narrowed his eyes towards Carlos, who was playing with Dude on the floor.

His brown eyes stared at the blonde ad just watched him. He didn't know how to approach this topic, because nothing is really out there about 'How To Approach Your Dog-Hybrid Roommate', so Jay was stuck just watching him. Of course Jay would have some fun with it, since he would purposely throw something to see his eyes widened and jump, because then he would began to smile if he caught it.

Jay sighed as he chewed on his bottom lip. He wanted to confront Carlos, but he had no idea how to even talk to him. Since CArlos was the one thing he hated, as mentioned before it was dogs. Sure Jay did like how afraid Carlos was, since he didn't have to worry about the dogs, but whenever Ben showed Carlos Dude, it was a turning point. Of course Jay would pet Dude, then quickly washing his hands, but that was only to make Carlos happy. Nothing else.

But seeing Carlos standing there with a bright smile whenever he hears Dude barking, or whenever he sees something that he could buy Dude, he couldn't help but to think that he should atleast try to be happy. But it was hard, being happy for your crush with something you hate, you don't really know how to react to that. Yet Jay just smiles and nods, with expressing his opinion every now and then.

"Hey Jay?" Carlos asked as Jay hummed in response. "Do you think we can, like, I dunno go to the park?" The blonde asked as Jay raised his eyebrow.

"At ten at night?" The brunette shot back as Carlos nodded with a smile.

Carlos flipped over on his knees and out his hands together, "Please! I promise that I won't ask for anything else again! I just need to go andI figured it'll be fun with you." Carlos said with a shrug.

Jay's face burned as he gulped and turned away. "I dunno, are you sure you want to go? Or is there someone you want to met?" Jay asked, and praying that he had no one to met with, yet he glanced trying to see the blonde's reaction.

Carlos giggled as he rolled his eyes. "No way! You're talking to the guy who has a crush on Jim Hawkins!" Carlos exclaimed as Jay raised his eyebrow towards him.

"Who's Jim Hawkins?"

"Are you freaking kidding me?"

"Uh, I don't think so. I never heard of this 'Jim Hawkins', Car."

"How could you not! He's like the most famous explorer! He's the one who found Treasure Planet basically, how could you not know him?!"

"Because I don't read like you do, besides why do you even like him? And if he's so famous why haven't I heard of him?" Jay asked as he crossed his arms, clearly jealous of Jim Hawkins.

Carlos giggled as he stood up and walked towards Jay. He patted Jay's head, who blushed, and pinched at Jay's cheeks, before kissing him on the forehead.

"Awe Jay, it's cute whenever you get jealous." Carlos stated as Jay eyes widened and pushed Carlos away.

"I'm not jealous!" JAy yelled as Carlos giggled and shook his head.

"Sure you not," Carlos said as Jay narrowed his eyes towards him and huffed.

Jay pouted his lips, and cursed himself for making it so obvious. But he knew that most people knew about his crush, which is why most people keep their distance from Carlos. Even carlos knew that Jay had a crush on him, but Carlos would never tell Jay that he doesn't like him like that. He thinks that they wouldn't work, since he thought of Jay as his best friend and that's it.

Carlos sighed as he ruffed Jay's hair and smiled towards him. "It's okay if you don't want to go, I understand. I just wanted to have some fun," Carlos said as he shrugged his shoulders as Jay sighed.

"Car, I don't think it's safe. Besides why don't you just go play with Dude, he seems lonely." Jay said as he laid down on his side, facing the wall.

Carlos opened his mouth but shut it, knowing he went too far. He knew that Jay hated whenever he brought out his feelings, it was something that Jay likes to hide from people. Carlos frowned as he walked towards Dude, but smirked as he shifted into a dog. He looked up towards Jay, and ran towards his bed and jumped out the window.

But that night was going to change everything.
